What do you all think: I have our first Epcot day planned for Sat. March 1st...I just read that will be the final day they are going to show the Tapestry of Dreams parade. The parade doesn't intrigue me at all...do you think we would be better off going to a different park if crowds are going to be higher than usual? (I'm thinking about the crowds at DL when the light parade was leaving) We have 9 days, so we can easily switch stuff around...our only PS that day is at Rose and Crown and I'm sure that can be moved to a different day without a problem. (Although it is a 7:30 reservation- I was hoping to time it right with Illuminations) Or maybe if we see the Mexico-Japan in the AM, go back to hotel for break in afternoon, and just browse at Morocco-Canada in evening, we should avoid the ToD crowds?? Is it even that popular of a parade? Thanks---:p

It's a special parade. We took a trip down for a long weekend a couple of weeks ago to see it one last time. The music makes me cry every time I see it, and has since the Millenium Celebration.

That said, if you want to avoid crowds, avoid WS that day. PS's aren't necessary in the parks this time of the year so you'll be able to catch Rose and Crown some other time.

You cannot do Mexico-Japan in the a.m. b/c World Showcase doesn't open until noon.

I love the parade and wouldn't miss it. I'm sure there will be a big crowd if everyone knows it's the last day.

From the hours I have, the WS opens at 11 AM. We would do some of Future World from 9-11, start out at Mexico around 11 AM, wind our way to Japan (probably catching Maelstrom, maybe Rio de Tiempo, browse shops, see American Adventure and grab a quick lunch somewhere)..Take monorail back to CR around 2 or so, and come back for our dinner around 6:00ish. Then we can tour UK, Canada and France before our 7:30 ps. I think it's do-able.. I have a 5 year old and a 20 month old and doubt we will want to fight the crowds for every single parade, so that's why I think we will skip ToD. From what I have read, there is nothing to replace this parade as of now. Plus, like I said, we are going to hit Epcot at least once more later in the week, so I'm not trying to cram everything in one day.
