Tape for strapless dresses?

I'm in a wedding this weekend and the dress I'm wearing is strapless. The past couple of times I've tried the dress on I'm constantly pulling it up and I'm not even walking around or dancing yet. I think I'd feel better wearing it if I used tape to keep it up but I have no idea where to buy this at or what it is even called. Anyone know?? Thanks!

Kelly- I bought the tape at Target in the bra section. I don't remember what it was called but it was hanging on a clear bag by the falsies I used it for my rehearsal dinner and wedding. It works pretty well but it irritated my sensitive skin. It also peeled off my fake tan so I had 2 stripes of white on my chest

They have at Victoria Secrets also. It is the same tape we used for hair pieces.

Thanks Jen! I was just at Target and checked that section out. It must have been one of the many empty hooks. I will definitely go check out another Target to see if they have them. I have sensitive skin too but I think I'd rather risk irritation than end up with my dress falling down . I'm glad to hear it worked well for you.

I read online or in a magazine once to use the type of tape that men use to adhere their toupe's on. Might work if you're in a bind.

One of the girls who works for me used to be in pageants. She also said to use men's toupee tape. Any beauty supply store should have it...probably wig shops too.

I never would have come up with that idea, crazy yet smart. Thanks for telling me about it. My afternoon tomorrow is going to consist of running around to all these places until I find some. Thanks for the help!!

I bought mine from theknot.com but I'm sure if you google the name, a list of stores will come up. HOLLYWOOD FASHION TAPE - 36 clear double stick strips - cost me $6

Thanks Michelle I need it by Friday so I'm going to have to find it locally but that is good to know for next time. I'm sure I'll pay tons more since I didn't plan ahead . Although... I think I remember seeing that brand somewhere... maybe Bed Bath and Beyond . Not a place I'd think would carry that but I swear I've looked at it at their checkouts.

Thanks for looking into that for me Michelle . I did the search and found two places that sell it. It was Joann Fabrics that I was thinking of... not Bed, Bath and Beyond... Joann's makes much more sense . Thanks for the help
