Hi Everyone,

I got a phone call from Tanis today and I am so excited. I felt as if I knew her my whole life after one phone conversation!! It looks like we will be set to renew our vows on Saturday, December 1st 2007 at the Yacht Club Gazebo...just have to wait until December 1st,2006 to make it official!! We will pray for good/warm weather. :cool1:

Tanis told me the ceremony times for 2007 have changed...apparently the afternoon ceremonies are at 2:30 and 5:00pm. I so want a late afternoon wedding and thought 5pm would be great. I am afraid, however, that it may be too dark by 5:00 although the Gazebo does have lighting across the top. I am worried also about time being a factor as a group of about 15 will be eating at the Yachtsman Steakhouse and then a Dessert Party at Epcot. It would give us two hours to eat and get us over to Epcot on time.

Any advice as to which time you would pick?? I am so excited, it is feeling more real!!!

Oh awesome! I love Tanis! I wanna be her BFF! Hehe.

Silliness aside, she's great. Lucky you!

1 more month and my Tanis experience will be over... how sad!

Congrats on getting your wedding planner and hitting it off with her! That is so important and reassuring to know you are in good hands for your VR. While I'm not sure exactly how light or dark it will be - on Dec. 1st sunset is officially timed for 5:28 pm www.timeanddate.com. So you may be having the ceremony in the "dusk" time but it shouldn't be too dark for photos or your guests.

I'm not sure about your timeline - will you be taking photos after the ceremony? Dinner is to start at 6? 2 hours is certainly doable for dinner - it just depends how long you'll want to sit and chat. I'm sure Tanis can continue to help you figure out if that will work.

Thanks for your replies!! I am excited about having our ceremony at dusk!! After we spoke to Tanis on Friday we were set to go with the 2:30pm ceremony. Something just did not feel right as we were going for a more evening themed affair. Ironically, I had posted a thread about the dessert party and CA_Stitch answered a question and as it turns out he is a Photographer!! Hats of to Tazfoto.com!! :cool1: I took a look at his work as he posted photos of Morocco for a dessert party...beautiful photos and really appreciated his work!! We e-mailed back and forth yesterday and we will be meeting to discuss our photos!! Apparently, they will be using flash photography and light reflectors/diffusers to help with the lighting!! We are also going to take pictures at the GF, both inside and on the beach 2 hours prior to the ceremony where the sunlight is supposed to be the best for pictures, as well as sunrise of course!! I am so excited!!Yeah!! :Pinkbounc

PrincessBride, thank you for the information from timeanddate, I am pleased that sunset will be at 5:28pm. Tanis told me that the Gazebo has lights and we were thinking of a Unity Candle and also Battery-operated luminaries to line the walkway to the Gazebo for extra light and romance. I imagine Disney is not big on open flames, so I hope they will be ok with battery operated candles instead. In North Carolina it is a huge tradition at Christmas to have the luminaries so I thought it would be special!!

We are going to bump our dinner reservations to 6:15-6:30pm. We will try and do a cake cutting and have them box it up for us so we can take it to the Yacht Club for dessert. We are going to take pictures afterwards around the Boardwalk..it is soooo pretty at night!!!

Thanks for your replies!! :dance3:
