Tamu tamu?

I read references to Tamu but cannot find it on ALLears menus or on a map of AK. Where is this place and what is it? Is it CS or a gift shop? Or a cart? Thanks,

Tamu Tamu Refreshments is an outdoor QS restaurant. It's at the corner of the first intersection you come to on your way into Africa from the front of the park. Across from the Dawa Bar.

Do you sit in the courtyard behind it, or across at Dawa Bar? How easy is it to find a seat?

We sat behind it and had no trouble finding a seat. You could go to Dawa bar and sit especially if you want a drink. BUT the first and only time we have been there we all got burgers and they were mushy gray yucky things. I think they were microwaved or steamed Even the girls I was with who eat everything couldn't eat them. This was about 3 years ago so maybe things have changed.

I eat there a couple times a trip, and so far have always lucked out and been able to grab a table in the courtyard behind it. I can't vouch for the quality of other food as I always get the same thing, but their turkey sandwiches are very good. They're similar to what you get at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot, but the ones at Tamu Tamu have more meat in them.
