Tampa Transportation

I am taking my family to WDW for 12 days leaving on Sept. 18 but I have to fly into Tampa to use miles from USAirways. I have DD (5) and DD (1 year during trip) in tow and would like to use the easiest, quickest way to get to AKL. We will be spending 4 nights there and then will be at BWI for 7 nights, so I will need to get back to Tampa from there. I have a reservation with National for 2 one way rentals but now find that they are off site. Also, I am confused by the drop off / pick up at WDW for National. Does anyone know of a service that will take you that distance? Otherwise, I would appreciate ANY suggestions or help.

Before we retired we used to fly into Tampa all the time, we have relatives there, we would rent a car, for the day, from National, drive to WDW turn the car in at the Car Care Center in WDW. We usually flew out of Orlando for the return, but I don't think it would be a problem to get a car from National for the return to Tampa! National will pick you up and bring you back to your resort after returning the car. I think this is the fastest and most convenient way to get back and forth.

I am just nervous about how much time it will take to get the car returned and back to the hotel. I will have DD's (5 and 1 years old) in tow and I am trying to keep things as simple and fun as possible.

I haven't used National yet but so far the customer service on the phone hasn't been great and I keep envisioning a problem because of it.
