Just back from WDW flying in and out of Tampa. We used National EA, for a few reasons, the first being the more than $100.00 price difference for 12 days for a full size car!

We arrived at 2:00 pm on 11/27. There was nothing on the Emerald aisle. Nothing on full size aisle. There was one intermediate, one Isuzu Trooper and two ompact cars. Period. There was also one harried attendent trying to get cars brought around, He said there had just been a mad rush and that was why the aisles were barren. My DH jokingly asked for the Trooper, but, the attendent said "I can't do that. I'm having cars brought around now."
There were two people in front of us, so we settled in to wait.

After waiting about 5 minutes, the attendent started talking to our grandson and kidding around with him. Then, Shawn (grandson) walked over and handed the keys to the Trooper to my DH! The attendent had called for a 4-door full-size, and was told there were only 2 doors, so, he gave us the Trooper. 2200 miles on it! My DH was in hoggy heaven!

At check-out, we automatically handed over our EA card, DC card (using DC discount) and our 20.00 off coupon from Entertainment book,so, I don't know if they would have asked for any of those or not.

They did not ask for proof of insurance (tho we had waived theirs, altho, as an aside, when we rented a car here at home a couple of weeks ago, we did have to show proof of insurance.

We were happy with our National EA experience. This is the 5th or 6th time we have used it, altho usually we fly into MCO. So far, I haven't been able to find prices anywhere near the rates I get at National.

For 12 days, our cost was $211.

We used EA in Tampa in mid-November and there were tons of compact cars, two or three Chevy Venture mini-vans, a Chevy Blazer, one full-size Oldsmobile Intrigue (we took that one), a Buick Century (someone grabbed it before we had seen it, liked the Intrigue much better though) and a Grand AM. They kept driving these beautiful Mustang Convertibles through the aisle and parking them near the check-out booth. Not on the Aisle unfortunately!! It wasn't really convertible weather anyway. They did request the coupon and reservation printout. They weren't really friendly but they weren't totally grumpy either. We arrived in Tampa around 11:30 pm. Overall a pleasant experience.
