Tampa Airport...Dollar in the terminal?

Is Dollar Car Rental Service in the Tampa Airport Terminal? What kind of service did you get? Thanks

Yes, I'm fairly positive that Dollar is in the airport in Tampa. We just used them in February and we used the Fastlane - which meant we got to go to the front of the line. We got a Dodge Stratus for our intermediate car. Overall, we were very pleased with the service - especially since I paid about $80 total for our 4 days!

Dollar is definately in the terminal. We used them in July when we flew into Tampa. Our first minivan was gross!!!! They gladly gave us another, actually a grand caravan for the same rental price. Returning was nice and easy too.

Is Fastlane like Nationals Aisle service? Can the spouses also drive for free? Thanks

Dollar's Fastlane doesn't work anywhere near as well as Emerald Isle service. All it gets you is a special line at the counter. You still get asked all those silly questions and they still try to sell you insurance and an upgrade.

Spouses are charged extra at Dollar.
