So what helped you decide on Napa Room vs Whitehall. I had the same reservations about it as you, as nothing on the CG menu looks appetizing to my party. are they working with you on a different menu??

Hi there!
I have been working on a few ideas for our DP party. I found some great bags on xmas clearance for .35 each for the DP and they were the right size too! I really liked them as soon as I saw them! they are an antique/brushed gold foil with gold cording handles and a chocolate brown satin ribbon( which dress them up- but may change /add some more color though. ). I have added a special label I made to go along with a quasi-theme idea I have in the works. I Actually made a to do list too! I have been picking up some odds and ends for our bear necessities bags. I also found silk rose petals to use. Have been playing with some hair style ideas again.... that is def an area that needs work. Thanks for reading more to come!

I have been busy working on a few different projects and ideas and they are starting to come together -creatively anyway. We did make final decision on officiant and that is in process. When I was putting the design/label on the bags for the DP, I realized I was short one bag( couldn't count that day, I guess) anyway I figured I would just find a similar looking one, but then I found one more of the same bag marked down in the stores xmas section. well we got DH's ring ,mine will be in later this week. they are matching gold w/diamond channel set anniversary/eternity bands. I really do have to get some pictures posted ( my dd is going to have to give back the memory card for the camera...) thanks for reading more to come with pics too!

here are the T shirts I made one for niece who will hand out our programs, our greeter that reads "I have all the details. I'm the Greeter" with Ariel design and her name and one for my nephew(mickey as Indiana jones) who will be an usher ( the disign board helped with this one) that reads "follow my lead I'm the usher" with his name.

The bags I plan on using for the DP/favors are a gold foil and came with the brown chocolate ribbon, I added the red ribbon for more color along with the glitter star tag. I really loved the bags when I saw them and for 35 cents each I couldn't pass them up. I added the label...

Once again loving all your stuff! This sounds kinda funny but... how do you go about asking for help on the DISign board?... Do you just post "hey I'm looking for this..." or do you spend hours searching for something like what you want and then PM the person to see if they can personalize it for you? I've lurked around there a bit but guess I should some more as they seem to help many brides create some amazing personalized things.

Laura, Thank you. I will try to get a better pic of the bag label it ties into a theme idea. I can't wait to get up my ring , by friday I hope .... I keep trying on DH just to imagine how mine will look, but his is too big so its not quite the same.... I am happy with how the shirts turned out. I think they will like them. I plan on having special shirts for us and dds too( we always have family shirts for our trips to wdw anyway) more pics coming soon! thanks for reading

I never made it over to see that your locations sounds great. We loved our DP on the Lower French Island, its a great view from that area. Where exactly does the arm come off from there? Any updates on the shirt designs?

Have lots of little updates (i.e projects coming, just been really busy here) but the best news Is I got my ring( we had DH) One more thing bought ,paid for (and have) and off the to do list! we got matching gold diamond channel set eternity bands.
