Talking Trash Can

I was wondering is there any rhyme or reason to running into the "Talking Trash Can?" I am planning an upcoming June trip for my family and my five year old niece will be with us. When my own three kids were younger we found the trash can in Tomorrowland once and also on Rafiki's area near the petting zoo at Animal Kingdom. I think she would love to see the trashcan and listen to his silly conversations. So...is it random or what? Thanks ahead of time!

Push is awesome! We ran into him a few weeks ago my daughter was wearing a Princess Jasmine costume. He was following her chanting Belly Button Princess!!! It was hilarious! Not sure when or how often he comes out but it certainly is a special treat!

I've been to WDW the past six years in a row and I've only seen "PUSH" once. It was in the Tomorrowland area of MK. However, I wasn't really "hunting" him either.

I went back in my notes and found a schedule. I also noted that he doesn't always adhere to this exactly, especially if it's raining, but you can ask a CM in the tomorrowland area if you don't see him. He usually hangs out around Auntie Gravity's.

Pipa has been gone for a bit now in AK.

Push can be anywhere from the teacups (he was messing with Alice) to the tomorrowland side of the hub (he has a thing for the popcorn cart there.) But his entrance is between Aunty Gravities and Cosmic Rays, and I've seen him mostly in that area messing around.

I don't know if Push can still do this. But more than once I've heard of Push escorting "friends" over to the FP line for Space or Buzz. And telling the CM there that they dropped their fast passes in him by accident and they should be allowed to ride.

Shut up! (Not literally and not in a bad sense at all! ) We've only ever seen Push once, when my oldest was 3. She still talks about him years later and want to see him again so bad! Thank you for the schedule!

I just wanted to say...I *heart* Push!

I had an ECV race with him - he called me Speed Racer! He is my absolute favourite character now (maybe even more than Tigger) - I totally fell for the magic of it all and whilst my husband saw his friend, I was completely oblivious and just beaming and bouncing.

I've only ever seen him the once, but as a 28 year-old woman, I'm sure I looked ridiculous. When I spotted him come out, I actually screamed out loud "PUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" I don't think he heard me (luckily), but my husband was laughing his head off at his crazy lady wife...

OP - I really hope your family get to see him. It's exciting that he actually has times - I thought it was pure luck to catch him out and about.

PUSH is the best Disney cm there is. He's a robotic trash can that wanders the magic kingdom and interacts with guests. He talks, dances, races and has a lot of fun.

He is called push because that's what it says on him! (As in trash cans have a big push sign where the garbage goes).

Go to YouTube and search Disney push. You can't miss him!

Great post. There are so many things I love about Disney and this is a great example. It is the little things...detail, creativity, innovation, etc.

I didn't know there was a schedule either so thanks for those who posted!

I've also never heard of 'push' but happy I did-and will be on the lookout for him on our trip
