I LOVE SRT! I went with my bestie on Christmas night and we had a same-day ADR that corresponded with Illuminations.

I was slightly disappointed when they didn't put us on the patio (we've always been seated outside), but instead took us inside to a ornate booth that was WAY too large for the two of us. We were trying to rush our meal so we could get outside for Illuminations, and our server kept telling us that we'd "be just fine". We were getting a little frustrated, but ...

MAN. Our view from that booth was FREAKING AMAZING. Yes, there was a tree that slightly blocked the overall fireworks, but we were seated in an overstuffed, couch-filled booth watching Illuminations with an amazing pitcher of sparkling sangria (they even served us one more glass to consume while we "waited out the traffic" leaving the park). They piped in the music and everything.

SRT is amazing. But I love that people keep talking it down ... makes it easy for me to get an ADR and a great table.

Food was mostly good when we went, but some was just ok. Drinks were ok. Service was lacking...though our server seemed to realize that and brought out extra appetizers to make up for the fact. We were outside, near an outdoor heater which was on WAY to high for the temperature. When our server abandoned us (for over 15 minutes) after taking drink orders, we just turned the heater off ourselves. So, I'd go again and hope for better service next time, but it's not a 'must do' of us.

My daughter and I plan on eating at SRT during Illuminations on our next trip and I'm so excited!

Hoping to eat there on upcoming trip. This trip will be only Me and DH (celebrating 32nd Anniversary) so hope it easy to get into without a ressie.
We ate there in Sept. and loved it, pleasant atmosphere and food very good. I think the Hummus fries are like Falafel.
