Talk to me about Dulles

I've only been to Dulles once many moons ago and that was a layover from my home airport to MCO. Prices are cheap to fly out of Dulles making it worth the extra 30 min drive over BWI. How is driving there? We are coming from Hershey, PA so I believe we'd take Rt 15. Is navigating the airport easy? Are food options plentiful? How's security? Any input is appreciated!

RT 15 sounds about right. Depending on the day of the week you are going and time of flight will also impact your trip to the airport. Compared to BWI, the longer term parking is MUCH further away. BWI you can park at any on or offsite parking and be dropped off within 5-10 minutes. Allow more time and expect to pay more at Dulles for parking. Allow a lot more time than you think you need. For everything... and you will be fine. It is a much larger airport than BWI as well. So again, more time. I'd say overall though that Dulles isn't terrible to navigate.
