I know the wait hurts but try not to think of it.. yea right like one could do that lol. I am sure all will go through and soon you will be the proud owner of your DVC.

I just wish they would give me an answer on my offer - I haven't even made it to the waiting game that is ROFR!

You've come a long way Scott. I remember when you were trying to squeeze a day in to just go to WDW, and now, here you are buying DVC!

Well, my DW was as sold on DVC as I was! We really think we'll get our $$'s worth over the next 40+ years.

Just got off the phone with Fidelity....the seller's countered my offer and I accepted....now just to do paperwork and pass ROFR!

Congrats. There is actually another wait. Once you both get all the paperwork done, pass ROFR, then there will be more paperwork to get transfer the deed. It will feel great after you pass ROFR, but then there will be another 30+ days before you get all the member ID numbers, deed, etc. That last wait seems to be the longest.

I've heard it's about a 60 day process. I'm not anticipating any access to points until mid to late July.

But once you get them and book your first trip, it will be worth it.

Well, bit the bullet and bought GF last week on the Alaska Cruise. Points were $145.00 a point. The same as AKL and Aloni. Gives us OKW, BLT and GF.

Was taking with a lady as we were disembarking the ship and she had 9 contracts. I have 6 more to go .

Congrats. VGF looks like it would be a lot of fun, and I would really enjoy another monorail resort. However, adding on points is definitely not in the budget right now. Hopefully, we will get to stay there one day.

Update....

Got an email notification, while I was in FL on vacation, that our DVC contract passed ROFR!

So I'll officially be a DVC owner in the next 30 days or so by the time we close on the contract and Disney assigns a member number to me.

I was tempted to tell them to go ahead and rush the closing documents and I'd come in person and sign them while I was in town!
