Taking teenagers to Disneyland

Hello,
We are going to be going to Disneyland next week and are bringing my son's friend with us. We are going to be at Disneyland for 3 days. How much money do you think is a good amount for him to bring? His mom was going to send him with $150. I don't think he'll buy too many souveniers and we plan on paying for some of his dinners; however, I hope this will be enough for his lunches and munchies. Any ideas?

Depending on how much he eats, it should be plenty. When my godson and his cousin go (15 and 16) we give them $20 each for the day. I guess we're just cheap!

I was down there with my choir last april and I had $150 for 4 days paying for all meals. That was really hard. I would just tell your sons parents that you will pay for some of the meals but not all of it. There is a food price list of

that is as of December '05 but those prices are pretty much how they will be. So just look at it. And also being that it is a boy he might want more money then that. Also pack some snacks in your suit cases to munch on!

Unless he's a real chowhound,$50/day should suffice. Depends on how much he loves his family(souvnier wise). I usually Figure $30-$40/day per person,burgers & fries.

I am doing the same thing in June, bringing DS's friend; they are both 14. We are spending 4 days and I am planning on $150 for all meals and snacks, plus a few games at ESPN zone. I probably will bring some breakfasty-type food along (pop tarts, cereal bars, etc) so that we won't need to spend time/money doing breakfast, just a big lunch and dinner (plus a Mickey bar or churro ). $150 for three days should be plenty.
