We're taking random suggestions on what you would like to know more about in regards to Disneyland?

We've got all sorts of topic ideas, but it's fun to hear what you, as potential visitors and listeners, would like us to cover more.

Do you want a little more of a behind the scenes look? A little "Then and Now" history? Current topics? Parent perspectives? Solo Traveller? Couples only?

You tell us - we would love to hear it!:thumbsup2

I suspect you've covered this already but I just can't recall right away so...
How about talking about the attractions that are at DL/CA but not found in WDW. Also attractions that are significantly different from one to the other.

And for those that are duplicated, I'd love to hear the left coast opinion on which version is "better".

Forgot to mention - I'd love some of the "then and now" stuff!

Why is the castle so small?

Nancy will be calling my cell in 5, 4, 3, 2....

Why is the castle so small?

Back in the 1950's everything was smaller. i.e. Coke Cola came in 8 oz bottles.

In the 1970's obesity stared to rear it ugly head and Disney was forced to increase the size of the castle to accommodate the girth increase of the populace. :rolleyes1

So you see it is all Coke Cola and McDonald's fault for including toys in the happy meals.

You made me snort. I didn't have the intestinal fortitude to ask but I wanted to (and I guess that means Nancy will be calling me right after she gets finished calling you).

As a WDW vet who will be visiting DLR this summer, I'd like to here tips from you experts for those of us new to DLR. Yes, I know about the value of FPs and getting to the parks early, but what other 'secrets' do you have? Any tips for seeing Fantasmic! or WOC?

Tacking this on to my suggestions above, tell us what attractions are geographically different as well. For example, is Jungle Cruise to the left of the hub? Pirates?

I was out there a few years ago and kept getting mixed up about where I was in the park because I'm used to the MK at WDW.

Maybe you could set up interviews with DL CMs and broadcast them on the podcast. For example, I think an interview with the legendary Oscar from The Carnation Cafe would make for an excellent podcast. We met him in 2007 and he was a complete gentleman. During my trips to DLR, I've met many longtime CMs that probably have a lot to say that would be of interest to Disney fans.

the perks of staying onsite vs offsite. We know what you get in Florida just not sure about what the benefits are for california.

How about some off-site hotel reviews?

This is a good one.

I just got back from my first trip to DL. It was spur of the moment and tacked on to a trip we had to make due to DH's family. I tried to research but felt woefully unprepared. I would have loved some touring plans advice and ideas for things to do with young toddlers. Best places to meet characters and best things to eat would be helpful. Even places to eat outside the parks but nearby would be good to know. I'll try to think of some more ideas for you and post again.

I would love some reviews and suggestions for the first time visitor, what not to miss best places to eat (gluten free options too!) and how much time to allow for a relaxing yet complete tour of DL.

Thanks! :goodvibes
