Hello...I would love some opinions here! My DD5 has big, beautiful blue eyes (of course thats just her moms opinion! ;) ) and really cute glasses (since she was 3). We decided on transition lenses because we had prviously lost 2 pr. of clip-on sunglasses. For the most part, i love them. Heres my dilema...For all of our outdoor pix at DW (our first family trip! )we will not be able to see her pretty eyes! So, do i have her take her glasses off, which seems weird because she always wears them. Or, do I have her keep them on and we will just see dark glasses in all the pix? :confused3 Right now I am leaning tword having her take them off for the "important" pix. Love to hear what you all have to say! :goodvibes

I suppose you could do a bit of each. There will be a lot of indoor pictures too throughout the trip so that should mix it up.

At least you're thinking of this ahead of time. Speaking of "important" pictures - one of my best friend's dad has transition lenses and all the formal pictures of her wedding were taken outside. No one thought anything of it until they got the proofs back from the photographer!! It's something they laugh about now. :rotfl:

Hmm, good question. I just got them myself and love them, but I had never even considered outdoor pictures. I am nearsighted so I flip them up on my head when I am reading something, so maybe you could just flip them up on her head (like a headband) during the picture.

What I forgot to mention (because I was heading out the door to sell GS cookies w/ my DD8) is that she is extremely farsighted and sometimes when she takes her glasses off one of her eyes crosses in! If the pix is far enough away it shouldn't be bad, but we just never know! I guess if your a big pix taker like myself, you might want to reconsider the transitions!? :confused3 I think I will just "wing it"

One other thing- Does she have any other old "regular" glasses that look near her current ones that you could take and exchange glasses for special pictures? That way you'd get her "everyday look" but still see the eyes-
