Taking own stroller

What are the rules with strollers on Disney transport? We are driving but not sure if we should take the monorail or ferry in and out of MK. Is our stroller allowed on the Railroad that goes around MK. I read that the hire strollers need to be left at the stations.

As long as the stroller folds, you can take it on the railroad. Sometimes, in extremely crowded situations, they'll ask that it be folded on the monorail and ferry too, but for the most part you can just wheel it on as is.

You will need to fold them for the busses and trams too.

When folded it had to fit in the seat for the train. I don't know when the trains our down but the last trip in October it was not running and this year I thought I read it would be down as there are no train tours either. I miss getting from one end of the park to the fantasy land when it isn't running.

We did fine folding our sit and stand stroller for the bus rides ( mandatory ), but just wheeled it on the monorail.

Strollers rented from Disney do stay at the station where you board and you get another from the station you get off at.

When our kids were little, we just folded them on the train, boats, and bus. We wheeled them on the monorail and they just sat if it wasn't too crowded. You probably already know this, but we bought some of those luggage tags, in the brightest color we could find, and put them on the handles. I think they were a bright obnoxious yellow It helped us spot our strollers in a ocean of strollers outside attractions and rides. Have a great trip!
