Good afternoon one and all!

We are going to take 2 of my Nephews to WDW with us in August for our wedding. Has anyone ever taken young relatives (4 & 15) with them? Do I need to get any letters etc from their parents?

Thanks as always,
Andy

Hello,

I took a friends daughter in 2002 and DID take a letter from here mother but althought he immigration guy asked if I had permission to take her out of the UK he said he didn't need to see the letter.

Better safe than sorry though.

Hi,

Like you I'm taking my 12 yr old niece  to Orlando in September. I've got a written premission from my sister to take my niece out of the country.

I would rather be safe than sorry.

Hi andy

I took my friends 12 year old daughter in 2002, and was asked for a letter allowing me to take the child which I had not got, for one moment I thought we were going to be sent back. After being told off we were allowed through. Not a very pleasant experience. Best to take one to be on the safe side.

Andy just seen this post. Definately get a letter from their parents giving permission to take them out of the country but also include permission to act on their behalf if they need medical treatment. Also check they have adequate travel insurance & you have the details.

We took eldest DS girlfriend with us on our last trip but luckily didn't need to use any of the above.
