Hello

I’m hoping this is the right place for this thread? My daughters and I are flying in for a quick trip next weekend and we will have approximately half or maybe a full day and are thinking of spending it at Disneyland. We have never been before we’ve been to Disney but it’s been eight years. Where do I get current prices? Does Disneyland have a chef Mickey’s or something comparable and is it worth doing for one day? Can you do the entire park in one day? Where can I find the attractions and all that there is to see also is there a downtown Disney like there is an Orlando thank you

Disneyland is definitely a park where you'll be able to get away with just a couple of days. I was able to park hop and get on most of my attractions on the same day, with a bit of scripting beforehand.

If you want to look at the prices for your target dates, definitely check the Disneyland website and hover around the "Tickets & Parks" section. You can check for any available discounts/offers as well as look at the prices for your desired visiting dates from that point.

On the note of a Chef Mickey's-esque buffet, there is a place called Goofy's Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel. Don't let the name fool you, though. You will not only have character appearances by Goofy, but you'll see the rest of those infamous animals, including Chip, Dale, Mickey, and more.

If you want to look at a map of both Disneyland and DCA, you absolutely MUST get the Disneyland app so that you can access the map anywhere. It will give you directions to get to your desired attractions, turn by turn.

Ironic that you mention Downtown Disney, because yes, there is still Downtown Disney in the Disneyland Resort. Downtown Disney is situated BEFORE the entrances to the parks. If you're parking at the Mickey & Friends/Pixar Pals parking lots, you will definitely be passing through Downtown Disney to get to the parks. You can absolutely script in a day just for Downtown Disney, they have a nice selection of restaurants.
