As the trip draws closer start thinking about your food budget. If youre on site & taking buss'es consider the various grocery services to stock up on snacks, soda, water. Lots cheaper than buying it all in the park. Most kids that age will be happy with counter service so dont think you have to do half a dozen character meals. And last is to think what they like to eat. No reason to pay lots for a dinner if they want chicken nuggets, burgers and mac & cheese.
Last suggestion, sometimes you see some old, cheap, first generation digital cameras out there on close out. Could be a nice idea to let them take their own pictures. Hope you & the family have lots of fun. Let us know how it turns out.
