Taking GRE's while on the DCP

Hi guys! I'll be leaving for my 2nd DCP in 23 days, and was wondering if anybody else has a similar issue as I do.

I graduated this may and I'm hoping to get accepted into grad school for next fall (2013). There is a possibility that I will be trying to extend my program and/or do a PI for the spring, so I will be in FL *hopefully* until next summer. This means that I'll be applying for my grad schools while I'm there and will need to take the lovely GRE's down there as well.

So here's my question for you guys: Does anybody know where they offer these exams around the Orlando area? Is it possible to do this while I'm there, and have any of you done this?

I don't think that you'd necessarily get a lot of studying time during the CP, so I would take that into consideration before deciding to extend or take your test in Orlando. You might make yourself entirely stressed out and miserable cramming in studying for a big test like that during whatever free time you have!

Thanks for the link! It looks like there are 3 locations in Tampa that offer the exam, which won't be too far (especially with my car down there).

As far as the studying goes for the exam, I won't be taking any classes this time (unlike my last program), so I should have a little bit of extra time to dedicate towards studying. With something so important, I'm sure I won't have an issue finding time for it.

I think it depends what your role is. If you're getting the minimum 32 hrs/week then it shouldn't be a problem, but I was taking essentially a full course load down there on my CP and was getting scheduled 40+ hours a week. You can give away, but that's hard to do sometimes. It was troublesome but can be done.

I took the GRE while On the CP. I took them in Maitland, which was about 35 minutes away.

Oh cool, how did the studying go while you were working?

I bought the English vocab flash cards and just brought them everywhere. Study them n the bus, on breaks, or anywhere. They are super easy to carry around, and for me, the part of the test that required the most studying.
