I think there are huge differences in a theme park counter service "restaurant" and a, usually, reservation needed sit down being waited on table service restaurant at a theme park. Every park I've ever been to that have counter service type restaurants, those places always seem to be dual use almost. Yes, you can come in, order a meal and sit and enjoy it AND you can sit, cool off, regroup, eat your popcorn you bought at a stand, feed your small child a snack or sandwich in the cool to keep them from breaking down, whatever. It's a theme park!!! That's why there are counter service places. It's ridiculous to think that Disney would allow, a much more lenient system than most theme parks, of letting people bring in outside food at all, but especially allowing a wide selection of food like entire lunches and drinks and then expect them not to have a place to partake of them.
