I understand that dogs sniff each other's butts. I will continue to take my dog where he is allowed but I will not stand there "wishing". I will tell the dog owner to heel his dog when he enters my space. If I were to stand within 5 inches of you while you were putting your groceries up on the conveyer belt, would you mind? Would you just say, "well its a public place, if I don't like it I will say home?? Or would you say, "excuse me, you are crowding me?"
I would say oh well it's a public place, because telling the person to back off is RUDE. I would assume that you have a different personal space bubble than I do because we're all different.
Maybe I'm just a doormat Southerner to some people, but I don't think telling people they're crowding me, is very nice.
