We are going to the travel exhibition at the NEC in a couple of weeks and thought that it would be nice for our 3 year old DD to travel there by train as she has started to get car sick. But we also have a 4 month old DD who can't sit up yet and were wondering what the best way to travel with her is?

She could sit on our knees for the journey, but it's not a particularly comfortable method for her or for us for two hours. She's most comfortable in her car seat, but will this fit on a train seat?

Any advice would be appreciated, plus any tips to help car sick kids.

I'm not sure if the child carryseat will fit on the seats but if you reserved 3 seats together you'll most likely get a group of four with a table inbetween. Rest the seat on the table, maybe not ideal but least they can watch out of the window.
When reserving request seats with a table in middle.

I have jammed a carseat in a bus seat before, and while it wasn't secured with a belt, it was prettysafe, I think it would work pretty well on the train, certainly better than on your knee.
