Taking alcohol onboard

I have been reading other boards and from what I am reading some lines do not allow you to bring alcohol onboard for you to consume.

DCL does allow you to do this, right? I mean I have read numerous threads about this. So if I was to bring alcohol how would I need to go about it?

Yes, Disney allows you to bring on alcohol. I don't think they want you to put it in your checked luggage although my Mom always packs a bottle of champagne and they've never said anything. We've just carried it on in plastic or paper shopping bags. We noticed a few gentlemen carrying on cases of beer in Key West. HTH

We have brought ours in a rolling collaspable cooler on every cruise we have been on. We actually just put it through the x-ray, we never check it.

That is what I thought, but I wanted to make sure.
