Good morning everyone. I am not even sure if this is the right place to post this, but I wanted to just take a second to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11. I also wanted to say thank you to our armed forces who risk their lives everyday for our country and others in need.
It is easy to get caught up in our day to day lives and I wanted to be sure to pay tribute on this day.

(I hope this does not offend anyone or bring anyone down, it's just something I wanted to do.) :grouphug:

Nicely said.

Very appropriate.

The troops go "above and beyond" for all of us.

Thank you for posting this. It is so easy to get caught up in our personal lives and forget that far away our men and women are facing danger we cannot imagine. It is good to remember that our way of life isn't free and can be put into peril at any moment. God Bless America!

I am from Brooklyn, New York and I can never forget. I live 3 blocks away from the waterfront that seperates Brooklyn from Manhattan. I remember every minutes of that day from the time I woke up to feed my son who was a newborn then, to turning on the T.V. and watching every second unfold in front of me like if it were a movie. My husband, brother and my father got home okay but I can't help to think about those brothers, husbands, and fathers who didn't. It is heartbreaking. :guilty:

Let's never forget this day people. I will always remember. My love for for this city and this country is strong and no terrorist idiot can ever take that away. In no way is your acknowledgement of this day offensive. I bet the families of the deceased are very thankful to you as I am .:grouphug:

MUCH LOVE FROM NEW YORK!!!!!!! :wave2:

I said this on another thread, but I'll say it again.

God Bless those whose grief will never end and whose loss is unimaginable. God Bless those who run toward that which causes the rest of us to run away-the firefighters, the police and rescue workers, the soldiers-we are graced by your courage. God Bless America today and every day.

I live in NW NJ and it is impossible for us to forget either. I saw the towers every day on my way to work. I was blessed not to lose any family or friends, but I do know many people who did lose loved ones that day. We must never forget.

OP--thank you for bravely and proudly supporting your husband in protecting the lives and rights of millions of people that he doesn't even know. I'm sure its not easy to be the wife of a soldier...I thank you and your husband for the sacrafices you make on behalf of my children!

I'm very far away from the sites of 9.11--here in St. Louis. Although we are very far from you, we are remembering those who lived so much closer to those events. Our St. Louis City FD had a ceremony this morning in our honor of their fallen comrades in NY.

We will always remember....

I live on the oppsoite coast, but tears came to my eyes this morning when I took time during my morning commute to remember the events that transpired that day. I cannot say anyone I know was physically affected, but I was emotionally affected. Those who risked their lives to save co-workers, loved ones, and strangers are angels here on earth. God Bless them. I will never forget that day, where I was, and how I heard the tragic news.
God Bless the troops and all who work to keep us safe from terrorists (including airport screeners, bomb sniffing dogs, etc.) Thank you for your strength and courage under harsh conditions and scrutiny!
