We will be taking our 3 1/2 year old feb. What are the must sees and does for her. We will be staying off property - not that that matters. Also any advice as well is greatly appreciated.

We've been taking both our kids at least twice a year since they were in womb. LOL! We just went to disneyland in march (usually do WDW, but splurged for the flight) when son was 3 1/2. He loves everything, and our rule is "if you're tall enough, you're riding it." :rotfl2: He loves all the rides. But one thing that still freaks out some kids that age are character in full-body costumes, although this last trip he even hugged Stitch and Mickey. He adores all princesses. Make sure you do character greetings. Try to get in line for those early as possible though. For a character meal, I would suggest Norway, because you see the most princesses there. They also really like Crystal Palace (breakfast with Pooh and friends). And I think that at that age, they still just really enjoy all the people-watching and sights and sounds. You will have a great time!

I don't know if you've trie before now, but se how she does with characters in costumes before you go. Of course you will have Halloween and Santa before you go. Also see how she does with fireworks if you can. Both of those can either be a love or a hate at that age. My kids loved Small World, and Pooh ride at that age. Here's a tip. The Great Movie ride can actually be quite scary.
Make sure you pack lots of layers. It can go from 80 to 40 degrees during a day at the park in February. Al biet that is an extreme example but you get the picture.

Do at least one meet and greet with a face character that she knows and loves. The face characters are so wonderful with kids. We met Ariel and Merida recently (as adults) and watching their interactions with all the little kids was so much fun.

Plan to spend lots of time in Fantasy Land in the Magic Kingdom. If you have an early riser, take advantage of it and be at the parks for rope drop and enjoy the super short lines.
