Takeout Express - has anyone used this service??

We will be staying at Gaylord Palms later this year for a conference dh is attending. (not to worry, we're staying onsite at Disney too!!! ) My concern is while Gaylord palms looks like a fabulous resort....the restaurants onsite are VERY VERY expensive. I noticed a listing in the Unofficial Guide for a place called Takeout Express that brings takeout to your hotel froma variety of restaurants (so you're not just limited to pizza) But I can't find a link to it on the web to know WHAT restaurants/menus are available. I'd also like to know if anyone has used them...and was satisfied or not???

We have a place like that here called delicious delivery. In our experience, most of the restaurants on our "list" are not good at all, and we have tried almost all of them. We stick to a couple, and even then, if there is a new driver or the restaurant is busy your food is soggy or cool by the time you get it.

Honestly, it is not that cheap to do either..when you consider, you pay full price for the food, plus the fee/delivery charge, plus the usual tax and then the tip on top of that. You will probably come out ahead by eating in the gaylord restaurants.

Those are all very good points! I hadn't even considered how the food might be cold and soggy. Guess we'll stick w/ the hotel....and making a stop enroute to get plenty of bread and fixings for PB&Js for the kids!!! Maybe some milk and cereal and of course, snacks.
