Would love to finish reading it before we go :thumbsup2
I got myself a pair of Bearpaw boots yesterday after your recommendation! Did you waterproof them?

Oo good stuff, hope you like them as much as I do :goodvibes I'm wearing mine right now, in fact!
No i forgot to, they stayed waterproof anyway, but it can't hurt if you've got the stuff to just pop it on as well :thumbsup2

I also want a pair of bearpaw boots... I just wonder when I'd actually have the chance to wear them outside of the house in the wet wintery months...

I have a pair of the thick soled ones, and took them to DLP (we were there in the week of the horrendous stormy weather) The Bearpaw boots were amazing, my feet stayed warm and dry even in the worst weather :woohoo:

I hope they have you on commission because the you'll soon be seeing a whole load of Dis'ers walking along Main Street USA in our bearpaws :lmao:

I've been rushing around so much this week I forgot all about our SDD:scared1: Will I get thrown off the DIS:rolleyes1

Have you booked your meals yet? Might try and give them a phone this weekend.

Was looking at hiking boots tonight in TKMaxx. Do you think I'd be better with bearpaws? DD had a knitted pair last year but I saw the suede ones I wasn't sure if they'd be waterproof enough!

I was wondering when you would join in!! I think you can be forgiven!

I tried the hiking boots on too but just didn't find them comfortable. Loladelorean swears hers were waterproof so I shall trust her, but I may give them a quick waterproofing this weekend, can't hurt!

Haven't booked my meals yet but was thinking I might do that this weekend after I've run them by MIL. Have you decided where you're eating?

Just ordered my Euros, travel insurance is done, it's all the bitty bits now like checking there is enough space on the video camera, charging the batteries, clearing the memory card, cleaning the buggy, buying snacks & first aid stuff.

Wow I hope everyone else's Bearpaws live up to the challenge as well as mine did or you'll all be coming after me :scared1:
I bought mine in TK Maxx last year, they are suede with thick soles and fur lining inside, I wore them with normal or thermal socks every day of our trip and my feet stayed warm and dry even in the worst rain. Look at my TR for photo evidence of them :rotfl:
And nope, not on commission, should really write to them and ask...

Had to do parents night tonight and again on monday. I was called for jury duty this week, but luckily didn't get called. School fete preparations next tuesday evening. I'm feeling a bit stressed:eek: Keeping this secret is not helping!

I didn't find the hiking boots very comfy either. I just thought my legs were the wrong shape for them. Going to go in town on saturday and try to get everything.

Still haven't got travel insurance and airport parking sorted.

I was thinking of walts on sat and cafe mickey on the sunday. Would love to do the sunday brunch but don't want to waste park time.

How are you getting on with your preparations?

I have started packing the thermals and things I've got so far. Its very cold and snowy up here and as soon as Anna saw the snow she was desperate to get her hands on the snow suit. I'm using every excuse I can think of to keep it clean:lmao:
