Wow. Up and ready to go to MK before the sun is even up! Way to go! I think Kris would've absolutely drawn the line at that He's not a morning person. He thinks 10 am is early!

Cute pictures of Madison with the characters! How'd you like Crystal Palace? I've never been there but thinking about a character breakfast next trip (in 2012 *sob*) and I love Winnie the Pooh so I was thinking about CP.

Hooray for free breakfast for Madison's birthday! I'd like to think of it as Disney magic rather than a calculating mistake.

I can't believe you were up and at 'em that early. I'm usually up super early at Disney but the rest of my gang- not so much. I don't want to waste any precious time while I'm at Disney. For some reason at home I struggle with getting up every morning for work...but not at Disney.

I'm not a morning person either, but at Disney I am! I don't like to waste any of my precious time while on vacation.

We adore Crystal Palace!!! It's so pretty inside, the characters are great and the food is wonderful. You should definately eat there next time.

The free breakfast was definately Disney magic (in my mind anyways). It was such a nice surprise.

We were up very early that morning, but we all get up without a problem on vacation. This next child better like getting up early too! I'm SO not a morning person, but how can you sleep in at Disney?!

Thanks Sheree! I just had to take a picture of that gorgeous sky while waiting at the bus stop. I got some funny looks, but I didn't care.

I don't know if we'll ever stop eating at CP for breakfast. It's just so yummy and so much fun to walk down Main Street early in the morning.

After breakfast, we headed over to Tomorrowland, but not without more PP pics!

There was a PP photographer right by Crystal Palace!

One of our favorite PP locations...by the Minnie and Mickey topiaries!

Once in Tomorrowland, Madison got in line to meet Stitch while I got her and Tony FP's for Space Mtn (return time of 10:20-11:20am).

After our little meet and greet, we rode Buzz twice in a row...5 minute wait! Madison wanted to meet the fairies again, so we started walking over to Toontown. On the way over, we noticed that Alice was out with the White Rabbit. We got in line, but then the White Rabbit went in for a break. It was around 9:45am by this time and I saw that Toontown was opening. We got out of line and joined the herd heading into Toontown.

By the time we got there, the line for the fairies was already at 30 minutes, but that was ok. Pretty soon, we were shrinking to fairy size and heading into Pixie Hollow. We got to meet Rosetta, Tink and Vidia. Last time, Maddie met Silvermist, Tink and Iridessa.

Rosetta was very cute and we loved her Southern accent. However, she seemed very scripted and had too many set poses.

This is the only good Tink picture the PP person got. I don't use my own camera in Pixie Hollow because I can't find the right setting. They always come out too dark.

Vidia didn't talk much to Madison at all. Kind of a bummer. Overall, this trip to Pixie Hollow was a bit of a let down. I feel like all of the fairies were very scripted and didn't spend a lot of time with each child. I know they're very popluar, but take some time with the kids!

After Pixie Hollow, we decided to check out Mickey and Minnie's houses one last time.

After saying goodbye to the houses, we rode the Barnstormer. Yes, even me! We then decided it was time to head back to Pop for awhile. We'd be coming back to the MK later that day. On the way out, Alice and the White Rabbit were still out! Once again, we hopped in line and again the White Rabbit went in for awhile. But, he came back out right before it was our turn!

On the way out of the park, we took another PP pic.

The Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! parade was going down Main Street, but we made it through the crowd just fine. We had to run a bit to catch our bus, but they had to load a scooter, so we got to catch our breath. Madison traded pins with the bus driver and we were on our way back to Pop at 11:17am.

When we got back to Pop, we did a bit of shopping. I bought a 2010 frame, the 4 Parks 1 World cd, Mickey earrings and Maddie got herself a pen and each of her teachers a pen. Once back in the room, Tony & Maddie got ready to swim and I needed a nap (around 12:20pm). I woke up around 1pm and I felt pretty great. Tony & Maddie came back to the room around 1:20pm and we all freshened up to head back to the MK.

Thanks! We can never walk by a PP person without getting a picture taken. The fairies were all so beautiful, but the interaction was not so great. Even Tink wasn't super friendly.

A very nice CM gave us each a Mickey sticker on the way to Tomorrowland. Tony and I wore ours for a few seconds until Madison took them.

Madison loves the fairies so she was just happy to meet them. As a mom, I just wish they would have interacted a bit more.

We rode Buzz twice that morning, so technically I rode 2 rides! The Barnstormer isn't recommended for pregnant women, but I rode it anyways. It's the shortest ride ever!

I never wait in line to see the characters. I'm always too busy running around going on rides. I have to do that more often next trip.

I like those pens. I bought a Donald Duck one for my nephew last year

I love all of the buys! It's nice to see M got something for her teachers! I have to tell you for as many times as I've gone to WDW (just 4 times last year and 3 the year before), I have always brought back something for my kids at school (daycare). I figured last year with all the kids on summer vacations and trips that I would have been brought back at least a pen, but nothing, nope, NOTHING, not from one kid out of 24!
If I were teaching in a not great area, I would totally understand but my families that went for example stayed at GF, CR, off site 5 bedroom condos, Marriott Vacation resorts, Hilton Head Island etc. so you know they aren't hurting on money. They also live in the wealthiest part of the area so ya. Needless to say, I have not brought the kids back anything the past few times + they weren't very well behaved anyways haha.

Anyways, just thought I'd let you know that I'm sure her teacher loved it and appreciated it!!!

Great update! We love taking PP pictures too, but always seem to have trouble finding them (except in front of the castle!). I wish there were always photographers in all of the different lands/areas of all the parks.
So strange to think that soon enough, Mickey and Minnie's houses won't be there anymore!
That stinks that the fairies weren't so interactive-- I've read TR's where Vidia especially is great with the kids. Seems like luck of the draw with the CM's, sometimes, unfortunately.

I can't believe that was the last time we'll see Mickey & Minnie's houses. I remember when we saw them for the first time!!! In the past few trips, I feel like Minnie's house has gotten a bit roughed up. It's always so crowded in there and Madison has never been able to actually go into the kitchen.

I was pretty disappointed with the fairies on this trip. When we saw them in Jan 09 they were fantastic!!

HI Meghan! We just got back so I am trying to battle my Disney depression by trying to catch up with all of my DIS reading. Your CP breakfast post made me miss the Mickey waffles even more. Waffles at home just don't taste the same.

Bummer that the fairies weren't as playful. Our visit last year was so funny, they were joking and kidding around a ton. This time around, I have to agree that they were a bit more toned down. However, since our little girl is still pretty young that could have been the reason too. We saw the same Vidia that you guys saw. I hope they keep Mickey and Minnie's country houses. They are so cute and it would be a shame to never see them again. I hope they get relocated.
