We are staying at POR in November. I should arrive at the resort around 7 pm on our first night. I was wonder if I could order dinner to go from boatwrights that night instead of eating QS. The dinner menu there is more exciting to me, but I don't want to sit down for dinner since the rest of my party won't be there yet. Thanks!

No, it is highly unlikely. Most of Disney's TS restaurants are not equipped for To Go service.

There shouldn't be anything stopping your from dining solo on your first night. You can dine anywhere you like and eat anything you want. Should be rather nice to me.

You should really consider a solo dinner at boatrights. It's not Unusual and you will likely really enjoy it.
The other option is to take the boat to Disney Springs ( a great POR perk imho) and grab a bite down there, so many easy options... Or just take the lovely ride, grab a nice to go sandwich at Earle of Sandwich ... yum!

Boatwright's doesn't do takeout. They might if they had a bar attached to the restaurant, but POR's lounge is separate from the restaurant.
