"Take-Out"/"To-Go" at the Beach Club or Yacht Club Resorts

Can anyone tell me if any restaurants in either the Beach Club or Yacht Club resorts have a “take-out” service besides Hurricane Hanna’s? I know Beaches and Cream offers drinks and ice cream only but we are looking for a burger, chicken, etc. The Crew’s Club Lounge and the Yacht Club Galley did not provide “take-outs” meals the last time we visited. The Crew’s Club Lounge didn’t even offer a burger on the menu, only appetizers and steaks. Hurricane Hanna’s has a limited “to-go” menu. In comparison to the Contemporary which has a very nice “take out” facility as does the Polynesians Captain Cook’s and the Grand Floridians Gasparilla Grill, the Yacht and Beach Club complex is lacking a good “to-go” or “take-out” location.

Have you tried the Beach Club Marketplace? They have sandwiches, breakfast croissants, salads, lots of desserts and beverages. All take-out.

There is the beachclub marketplace which does sandwiches and salads etc. Also some very nice ice cream. The bakery is very nice and has a good selection of pastries and the like. The link gives you an idea of what they have - we had breakfast there most mornings last year and were not stuck for choice.

Enjoy your stay at the Beach Club - we loved it and SAB is great!

The Markeyplace only offeres "cold" sandwiches and they seem to be delivered in the morning. In the evening they have been sold out or soggy from the refrigeration. We are looking for more of a hot meal, things like a cheese burger or a hot chicken sandwiches.

I know that you can find a bigger selection of fresh for take-out if you walk across the bridge to ESPN club. We have done take out from there many times when staying at BWV.

Another option I see is room service right at the YC/BC. Click here to see the menu. Seems like they have the burgers and chicken sandwiches you're looking for.

Other than the marketplace and Hurricane Hanna's I cant say. We have picked up food to go at EPCOT around lunch time and eaten it at SAB or our room. IMO this is the one big downside to the YC/BC -- there's no place open 24/7 like at the GF or the Poly (and some other resorts, I would assume).

It is for that reason that I feel somewhat cheated when staying there. Love the pool and décor and full service restaurants but neither the Beach Club nor the Yacht Club resorts can boast of there “take-out” facilities as can Polynesians, Grand Floridians and the new facility at the Contemporary. You would think with two luxury hotels sharing the same space that they feature a facility similar with any of the three properties mentioned above. Hurricane Hanna’s services the pool goers and its menu is limited. Management can say that they have a “take-out” location but it’s nothing to brag about. If I remember correctly the Yacht Club Galley at one time offered “take-out” but no longer. I guess we will have to get in the car and go over to Coronado Springs Food court again

As far as room service, why would you pay for that service when you are out and already on your way back to the room?

If you feel like walking just a few minutes, you might consider heading over to the Swan/Dolphin. There are supposed to be fantastic CS places over there where you can get really good burgers & hot sandwiches to go. It's a pretty close & very pleasant walk from the BC.

Here's the menu to the Picabu Cafeteria at the Dolphin. Looks like it's open pretty late too!

Try Giordanos (sp?) delivery. Sandwiches, salad, pizza, They deliver to BC/YC and are a great change of pace.

Thanks, never thought of ordering off property.

The Swan/Dolphin is also something I never gave consideration to but I sure will now.

Thanks all! :thumbsup2

Picabu's at the Dolphin is open 24/7, and you can use your AAA card there to get a discount.
