Take Out or Delivery

Hey guys...
I am coming down for a week in early May staying at the Boardwalk Villas (with kitchen/living area/etc).

Friends are coming to visit...and we are going to hang out and chat in the room. Rather then go out...to save money...and to be able to sit and remember old times....we want to eat in.

Can anyone tell me of a take-out place that delivers to the Boardwalk....someplace in the area?

I know Disney has the pizza delivery.....but it's small and expensive (isn''t it).....and I am sure room service for 10 people would be too much money.

I was thinking that there has to be a chineese food place or pizza shop in the area, that delivers to the resorts.

Any ideas experts?

Thanks!!

Jackson

I'm sure I read somewhere on this board that someone who was staying at BWV or BCV ordered pizza from Pizza Hut. They met the delivery guy at the valet parking area.

If you post on the DVC board I think you'll get lots of answers. I've seen posts there about ordering delivery. I agree that that's the best bet for your crew. We've picked up pizza at Crossroads....pretty good and tons better than anything we've found at WDW other than the flatbreads at CG, Jiko and Mama Melrose.

I've seen Domino's, Pizza Hut and Papa John's delivering on property. I haven't seen any other types like Chinese. If you have a car, you could go and pick up food from any number of places in Lake Buena Vista or Kissimmee, like Olive Garden, TGI Fridays, etc. Another suggestion would be to order a couple of platters from the Publix deli and bakery and have your own little buffet in the villa.

I was wondering if you've ever stayed at BWV? I think 10 people in a 1 or 2 bedroom living area would be a crowd. A grand villa would be fine.

Yes, It is a Grand Villa at the Boardwalk!! First time ever!! (and don't know if ever again)!! Can't wait!!

Hi!

I've been looking all over for a post I saw about three weeks ago from someone who used a personal chef service for a dinner they enjoyed in their suite at OKW.

I can't find it! It had a link to the website of the chef and it looked really good a very reasonable. If anyone remembers this post and could provide the link I think it might be a great option for that many people.

I sounds like they can either provide a served dinner or make up any sort of dish you might want packaged and ready for your oven (delivered).

I am going to keep trying to find it...
