I can't remember where I saw it, but someone had mentioned that it was possible to order the cheese soup and breadsticks as take-out (I assume this means without a reservation). Has anyone else heard of this or better yet, actually done this? I don't want to be the fool who walks up the hostess to place an order if this is just Disney lore, haha. TIA.

I think they USED to do this before the restaurant became so popular lately. Now, unless it is lunch time or very very slow, I can't imagine they would any more. We tried it last year as a 'just in case' thing and they said they were full with reservations and had no time to do 'take out' any more. Sigh...so sad.

Yeah asked last time I went there and they dont do it any more (I was told that it was because they don't do take out containers suitable for soup). I actually have always thought that the old Beaver Tails stand should have been turned in to a soup and pretzel bread stand as Im sure Disney would make a fortune (ps if anyone in Disney reads this feel free to steal the idea as I don't mind at all just as long as I can finally get somewhere to get my soup!). If however you go during Food & Wine (Sept 27th till end of October next year I bellieve) they sell the soup in small (about 3 spoonful) cups at the Canada stand which is good. Means I don't have to get an ADR
