Take her....or leave her? 22 month old

TAKE HER!!!!

If you are having thoughts of missing her now....then you will once you are there.

She will have fun and it will be a real family vacation because everyone will be there.

Even if she doesn't remember - you and DH and the other kids will!!!!

TAKE HER - she will have so much fun...the rides, the characters, the shows, the playgounds, the hotel...all so much fun. We have been to Disney 4 times, my DS was 9 months the first time he went - it was great, he was 19 months the 2nd time he went - he had the best time and this past Nov he was 23 months and he is now a Disney pro. He loved it all and you would miss out on seeing Disney through your child's eyes. Even if the don't remember it you will have pictures to show and you will have sooo many magical memories from this FAMILY vacation. Both of my kids cannot wait to go back

If you decide to rent a double stroller, I highly recommend Orlando Stroller Rentals. Their strollers are wonderful and much cheaper than renting from Disney. We've rented doubles from OSR three times now, and their strollers fit through every door on property that we pushed them through (hotel rooms, monorail, gift shops, onto some of the boats, etc.). We even took the stroller into the gift shops on occasion if they weren't too crowded and didn't have any problems navigating. The strollers from OSR have huge sun shades. They have a basket underneath and pouches on the seat backs. They are easy to fold and easy to push. (I do take a single umbrella stroller for our little one to use in the airport, but once we get to our resort we use the rental the entire time.)

One huge benefit to using a side-by-side is that both kids can easily see all around them. (This is really nice at the parades. When you stake out your spot, use the stroller as a place holder and a seat for the two little ones. They'll have a great unobstructed front-row view.) If you use the double where one is always in the back, the child in the back may not be able to see out into the park as well.

Glad to hear you're taking the little one! Hope y'all enjoy your trip!

A lot of reasons can be given to not take her but they all serve someone's interest other than hers. There is one big reason you should take her that has nothing to do with WDW at all...she would miss her family and possibly even at that age feel some sense of abandonment. Take her, she'll love it & your family will too.

I agree with this. I really can't believe that anyone would even consider leaving an almost two year old behind. Mine went for the first time right before his second birthday and he loved everything.

Thanks for the replies!! I totally feel the same way. Shes def. going! I guess i needed some reassurance and I know now for sure that I could never do Disney w/o her! Thanks thanks!!

Another question for those of you that have done it with small ones, I have a double stroller but its not a side by side. Should i rent or get a side by side?

I was also wondering about which parks to visit with them. Are they all pretty much the same as far as things to do with the little ones. Would i want to do all 4 parks with them?? My 3 year old is 36 inches right now so i dont see her being 40 inches when we go. 8 year old is 47 inches now. AND when the ride says "Any Height" does that mean the 22 month old can ride any of those?

Thanks!!!! Im really trying to get all the info that i can so that we can make the most of it!! :)

Our first trip our kids were 3, 2 and 1 and we had a great time! I actually bought a sit-n-stand just for our trip (I had a graco double stroller, very long and heavy) and wanted something shorter and lighter). I got rid of our regular double and just used the sit-n-stand after that...it's a great stroller!

We also did all 4 parks with the kids. There is a lot to see and do in all the parks.

This is actually going to be my first trip without a stroller...my youngest who is now 3 won't sit in it so it's pointless to bring. If we need to rent one we might, but I doubt it. We do go back to our resort every afternoon for a siesta before returning to the parks later in the day.

Have fun planning and have a great trip!
