take Graco DuoGlider or buy one of these strollers?

I bought the tickets and for $50 less.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

DH started saying what if the kids get sick, where will they sleep-I'm not dragging a pack-n-play on the plane, how much is this going to cost, blah blah blah but I waited til he said OK (11:30pm) so that he can't say he never said I could.

foofoo, thanks for the heads up on the combi. The 1 site I checked had great reviews but I just checked epinions and I see the issues. I did take a quick look at 1 yesterday and did think that bar looked rather flimsy. I guess I'll look at the maclaren. No deals on that 1 but I did find a 10% coupon for onestepahead.com on dealcatcher.com

I was a bit worried about my maclaren single last year but I never had any problems other than a scratch on the handle on the plane ride home. You may want to purchase a carry bag if you do take it on the plane. Are you planning to rent in the parks? I'm not sure how comfortable your baby would be in those.

I went through the search earlier this year for the "perfect" double stroller and finally gave up. I sure wish someone would make an affordable good side-by-side double stroller with good reclining seats, nice storage and that is lightweight too. I ended up just getting a Graco Duolite for $50 (I got a deal on a sample at a trade show) and although I don't like it that much it is worth about what I paid.

I loved the Combi until my dd (a pretty small 3 year old) tried it out and immediately declared it "too small." She loves to ride in a stroller but did not like this one at all. She didn't care much for the Maclaren either although she wasn't quite as uncomfortable. She did like the Perego Aria but her feet were already past the footrests. So I would definitely try to find somewhere to try out a double before buying as you'd hate to have to return it via mail if it is too small. I guess that with the side-by-sides in particular they tend to run small because they are trying so hard to make them narrow enough for standard doorways as well as lightweight. I really don't think they make a good double stroller that fits "bigger kids" (those over 2 y/o) unless you go with one of the huge/heavy pram-type carriages. It is a shame as I think there is a market for one but nobody seems interested in making it.

You may check resale shops in your area too as there are often good deals to be found on strollers. I have seen several ones like mine at resale shops around me as well as a few others for pretty good prices.

Since we only have 2 kids we are just taking 2 single strollers this time. Granted we both have to push one but at least the strollers are comfortable for both kids and we can separate if needed. Too bad you can't take one single for the baby and have the other 2 share another single but I understand your desire to have a seat available for each child.

Good luck and have a wonderful trip!

I just bought the Maclaren Twin Traveller on Friday! I had been on a double Mac search for about 3 months. I found mine on the FAO Schwartz web site in the bargin Bazzar. It is a 2002 model on SALE for $209 plus shipping! A few points about some 2002 Mac.'s TT's:

WING problems (all 2002 OPUS DUO's have this problem some 2002 TT's have this problem)!! The wings on the seats (shoulder area) made the seats VERY narrow. Be careful for this! Mine does NOT have the wing problem and my 3 yo and 5 yo like to sit in it (but it was not bought for them), and look comfortable in it. My twins, who we bought the stroller for seem very comfortable in it.

Hood issue. What may look like two hoods, is really not what it seems. There are two hoods, but they are connected by a rivot in the center. They will not operate independant of one another.

I love the fold. It is the smallest side by side except for the Kolcraft (which we have and I hate).

Handle height good for taller folks.

I am also concerned about the monorail, but I this is the stroller that we will be bringing to WDW in the spring!

Any other ?? PM me! I will be happy to answer your questions!
