I just discovered this yesterday.
My daughter wanted to take the plastic cup that we brought home from the AK outside. (The cup did not come with a lid) I didn't want anything falling into her drink but none of the lids I had from other cups fit. They were all too small.
Out of curiosity, I tried a margarine container lid. (Brummel & Brown's to be exact) To my surprise, it fit perfectly! I used a hole punch and made a straw hole.

I've already made two for our next trip in 39 days!

We use to get the biggest 7/11 drinks and they camr with lids that just didn't work. So, I found thet the cottage cheese lids fit and wrapped around the lip of the cup to make a leak proof fit!! :p then we cut an x in the lid to hold the straw!!!!

Melika77,
The 8oz B&B tub lids (they are in the two pack at the grocery store)
The AK cup it worked on was about 16-20oz, not a very large one but just right for an 8 year old.

Just a tidbit in case you didn't know. Lids and straws are not given out for the safety of the animals:D

That's why I always take my own cup with a lid. If I must I transfer the soda to my cup rather than having it splash all over me as I roll along. Bottles of soda tend to fall out of my cup holder.
