I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I always take a picture from somewhere I'm sitting, just of whatever I see in front of me. Then, until my next visit to WDW, that picture stays as the wallpaper on my cell phone. Right now, I have the view from a picnic table in Dinoland, of several rides and signs. Then, whenever I open my cell phone, I remember the feeling of sitting there. Once it was the view from the Magic Kingdom Railroad. Turned out I just got a shot of trees, but the important thing was that until my next trip, it would bring me back to sitting on the MK train as it circled MK.

That's a lovely idea. I will have to do that when I go in December :thumbsup2

I've had the castle as mine for 4 years now. My kids complain that I need to change it. I tell them I NEED to keep it. :thumbsup2

awesome idea! i'm going to do this in Oct. but first i'm going to write it as an event in my phone so i'll remember to do it rofl. :0) thanks for sharing this.

Thanks for the tip! I never thought of this, but will definitely plan to take a pic (or two!) with my cell!

That's a great idea! Last time my likewise Disney obsessed friend took a trip he played a great game with me. He would take a picture of a piece of something fairly obscure with his phone (like part of a fountain), and then send it to me and make me guess where it was. It was fun!

I'd love that! I wish I knew how to send pictures via cell phone. I'd love for someone to do that.

Hey, that is a great idea! I think that I need to borrow it! I can always use some Disney magic in my day! :thumbsup2

My wallpaper is the castle at night, right before wishes ! :thumbsup2
:lovestruc Love it ! :lovestruc
Took it in March for spring break.

Oh, that is a good idea, for when my friend goes to Disneyland in October ! :thumbsup2
It would be kinda like being there. Sort of. A little. maybe just a bit.
She does send me pictures of the food !

A bit OT from the OP, but this reminds me of another favorite tip. The first picture of the day at Disney is always of the Lot/Row marker in the parking lot. After hours in the park, it's good to know that we don't have to remember where in those acres of pavement we parked. Just flip on the camera while you hop on the shuttle, go to the first frame, and there it is: Television 42 or whatever.

I don't think I would want this particular shot as the one on my screen however! Much better memories than that...

Don't remember where I first learned of this tip, but thanks to whoever first wrote it up!

I read in other threads this great idea of taking a picture of your child each morning (either from cell phone or digital camera) in the clothes they are wearing to the park so GOD FORBID you get separated and need to get people to help find them you have not only a recent picture of them but the exact clothes they are wearing (in a frightening moment like this it is easy to forget exactly what they had on) Let's hope nobody ever needs to use this tip!

Love the idea of saving a moment in my cell screen saver! We usually take snack breaks and people watch. Some of my favorite moments are just sitting on the concrete benches in Tomorrowland eating popcorn with DH and DD. Will definately take pic's sitting there next time!

I'm definitely doing that next year! That is such a good idea. :thumbsup2

I've had the Castle at night with fireworks in the background for years now on the cover of my phone. When I flip it open I have the most clear picture of the Mickey head, with three porthole windows beneath, of our cruise on the Disney Wonder.

Everytime I use my phone I get my Dsiney fix!

My brother and I started doing that a few years ago. It is so much fun trying to find that picture he will never guess. But he seems to always get it.:rotfl: I have only stumped him once so far. My kids are now getting involved in it trying to find pics to stump him. We spend a lot of time looking for that right picture.

I swear we must send 10 pics a day. I don't think there is much left to send.
