Tailgaters

Love having a car with a manual transmission. Just downshifting and letting the engine do the braking scares them to death, and enough to make them not do that again.

No, I do not tailgate, EVER! It is rude and dangerous to all concerned. I am never in such a hurry I can't wait a few minutes to get there.

Actually I think people that do all the time dont even realize they are doing it because it has become such a habit.

Whenever I am tailgated, I safely and quickly pull over and let everyone pass. I can't stand being followed so closely. Most often when I am tailgated, it is by a super large SUV (since most people own them around here). My little Honda is no match, and I have to pull over and let them pass for my own safety. If they rear end me, they will have no damage and I will be in intensive care. The SUVs always win, they are king of the road, I have to get out of their way.

I'm so used to pulling over to let SUVs pass that I don't even think twice about it anymore.
