What is getting tagged mean? I alway see, thanks to tag fairy, when can i get tagged?, etc...

Does this mean anything??

The tag fairy is a mysterious being which is why you see so many threads regarding him/her. Our own DIS mystery if you will is the tag fairy. No one knows when he/she will hit and with what, which makes the experience of getting a tag so exciting. As sad as it sounds, I fully admit that I screamed out loud when I got my first tag, and I'd do it again

Some people get tagged with like 100 posts, and some people have thousands of posts and don't get tagged, it's a mystery.

I haven't been tagged in a very long time, so I promise to be extra good in 2007. Maybe the tag fairy will show pity on this poor unfortunate soul and make me scare my kids by screaming at the top of my lungs again

Under your name where yours currently says Earning my ears. That is where the tag fairy might leave something you've said. As poster says some have been on the boards for years. Just have to be lucky
