I can't believe [COLOR=9900CC]oddball27[/COLOR]'s mom is gonna let her go to Bike Week. I sure hope this isn't the same Bike Week in FL I am thinking about.

good story Lewski... and i can really relate to the kids growing up too soon.. I am not ready for a teen who is bigger than me.. enjoy them while they are little , it is over way too soon..

I think it would be hard for both of you with working evenings.. although I have some friends that DH's work crazy hours and travel and are never there and they seem ok about it but IMHO i feel that it would be hard on you and the kids...

I would quit working and be home with the kids. Maybe even consider having another. But, I don't think it's gonna happen anyhow. You know what they say about pipe dreams............all I see is SMOKE!

Me too. I just keep on working.. maybe one day.. I'll sit at home and ??? . but on the other hand , once they are in school full time.. I think it would be boring .. what would you do all day, just clean the house??? WAIT.. You could DIS all day.. i take that back..

whats the big deal?!?! it cant be any worse than the fourth of july down by the lake our lake house is near a marina......lots of people....lots of drunks, lots of stuff, lol!!!!!!!

Hey everyone!! I'm back!! Well, I got back yesterday, got caught up on all the posts, typed a long post & when I tried to submit it......DIS was down.

Oh well, I saw The Dead Sunday night & they were awesome. We had a GREAT time! I ran into a friend I hadn't seen in a couple of years, so that was cool.

Cadburysmom, I think you asked who was singing now that Jerry is deceased. Well, he used to sing about 1/2 of the songs & Bob Weir (the rhythm guitarist who I fell in love with July 6, 1990 through binoculars) sang the other half. Phil Lesh (the bassist) used to sing a little as well. So, now Bob sings most of the songs, Phil sings a few & they had Warren Haynes (Allman Bros. & Gov't Mule) with them & he sang a few as well. We had such a great time & I miss seeing them so much. It's still pretty weird with Jerry gone, but I love their music so much it is still a great time.

Well, just wanted to check in with everyone.. Hope everyone is doing well. Lewski, happy belated anniversary.

geffric, PD to you & your family. (I think it was you who needed some, if not, oh well, one can ever have too much PD).

Hey Oddball! What's happenin'? Any Chantz news? How about Cody? What's this I hear about Bike Week. DFIL will probably be there. He bought a Harley a couple of years ago & he usually goes to Daytona & the one in South Dakota. I think he's had about 10 mid-life crisises (sp?)!

Hey!!! Nothing really!! No Chantz news...havent seen him since Friday!!! And Cody's bike was on AC last night!!! I LOVED it!!! SOMEONE keeps trying to put me and Carebear down about Cody, but she can kiss my "hind end", LoL {I never say hind end }

And I REALLY wanna go to bike week!!!! My mom knows this guy, Lance. I know him too...he's hilarious and so cool!!! {he's pretty hot too, which is odd, considering he has a wife and kids } He has a bike.......he got a new one too...I havent seen the new one though
