I missed Survivor last night. Whatever! How dare they change the night and none of you talk about it yesterday. Is it still on tonight?

Ohanafamily I would really like to wrap up the swap list before 4-1. I am gonna need more than a week to get the perfect items. I would have to run around like mad in one week to get a package out. Remember: 2 small kids in daycare, I work f/t and like to spend as much waking time as I can with them. Plus, there are weekly activities. Am I whining?

Good morning everyone. And welcome NCBelle. I made a pot of hazelnut coffee for everyone. My kids are off of school today, so I'm DISing in my gingerbread men and candy cane PJ's.

In case anyone was wondering, I survived last night. And yes, we did close the restaurant.

Needless to say, I didn't watch Survivor, and I have no idea who was kick out last night. Go ahead and tell me, because no one taped it for me either.

Okay, I'm off to do a little cleaning, then take Hunter to his friend Mary's house, then Eric and I are going shopping for Easter clothes, out to lunch, stop in the office, and then home by 3:15 p.m. to watch......

I see how you people are...trying to move while I'm gone! Well, I never!!! OK, there was that one time when my parents tried that but I tracked them down after a few weeks.

I am not current on the posts, so please forgive me. I'm still trying to catch up on the last several pages at the OLD place and haven't read anything here yet...BUT (snicker snicker)...I just had to tell you guys something!!!

I finally heard back from that company I've been dealing with and THEY MADE ME AN OFFER!!!!!

This is a 6 month contract position but it is a really good opportunity and could possibly turn into a regular position. I can also continue to pursue something with Disney or someone else at the same time. I'm so excited! This makes the whole moving thing SO much less stressful!

Oops sorry Lewski. You know sometimes I get lost in my tendency to babble on about myself. Yes, the Spring Bichon avatar was cute. I liked that one too. I thought this one that I have was easier to see. Thanks, maybe in a month I'll find the spring avatar and put that one on.

I was glad Colby was voted off last week but....... was VERY sad to see Ethan go......I still think Lex took more than a little pleasure in telling him he was about to get the boot......can't stand Jerry and the thought of her going to the finals is revolting......SHE'S the whiner oops....maybe I should join the DARK SIDE over at the DB

This has happened to me a couple of times. Once the security device was left on a dress I purchased at a little store on the other side of town that I'd never go back to. It hung in my closet for months before I finally just wore it to work. At lunch I went into the mall (the office building was connected to a shopping mall) and walked into a store that looked like it used the same type of security tags. As the alarm went off I walked up to the counter and got some strange looks when I lifted the bottom of the skirt and asked them to remove the tag. Thankfully they believed me when I told them I really did pay for the dress.

Another time I had that problem was last summer when ohanafamily and I bought some cute shirts for nieces at WDW - World of Disney - and had them, along with tons of other stuff, shipped home. They forgot to remove the tags before putting them in the box. I had to search for a store that would take them off. Some refused, but I finally found a nice lady that took pitty on my nieces and removed the stupid tags. (This time at least I had the receipt with me.)

Okay, who was it that started the discussion about Parsnips, Lewski709? I woke up to the sounds of ohanafamily singing about them. It took me months but I'd finally gotten him to stop that and now here we go again. Thanks a lot. NOT!

OK, I'm not entirely sure what a parsnip is. To me it sounds too much like an unpleasant medical procedure!
