geffric, I used about 1/4 t. of the brandy flavoring and that seemed to be about right. Thanks for the link, I do use that website alot. Whenever I'm looking for an idea for dinner, I go there. In looking for an on-line version of the breakfast lasagna to post I found some sites that have WDW recipes. I'm going to try a few of them.

Ohana, maybe I missed it somewhere, but I still don't know where the wifey is? Is she OK? I hope you are taking good care of her...

Whoa there, Nelly.....not All of us Carolina girls torture peeps!

And I LOVE the pics of Holly and Daniel too. Daniel looks a lot like my Jordan....he's swarthy with beautiful brown bedroom eyes....in case Holly is interested.... I might even allow Jordan to date her....when they're much older of course.... I just won't let any riff-raff date my precious boy!

The recipe is not as involved as it looks. I made the two sauce type things the day before and then just assembled everything on Easter morning. It really didn't take long at all.

I'm sorry, but in the best interest and safety of the peeps, I simply can't allow any into the state of NC. Surely you must understand...

As far as Jordan goes, I'll need to see some pic's and a recent report card. Also, make a list of all extracuricular activities and he'll need to write a composition explaining his plans for his future and what his intentions are where Holly is concerned. I'll also go ahead and tell you, there is a waiting list for Holly's hand. I'm not kidding, am I DHB?

I have another one for y'all... last night at 8:30, Katie needed dessert and the cupboards were bare! So, I pulled out a cake mix, preheated the oven, did some"magic" and 15 minutes later, she had warm double chocolate chip cookies on her plate. (I would have left some at the pool, but she snarfed them so quick, there wasn't time to save any.)

Easy Cake Mix Cookies

Preheat oven to 350.
Mix one cake mix, any flavor (we use one of the chocolate varieties, of course) with 2 eggs, 1/2 cup cooking oil, and 6 oz of chocolate chips (or other mix-in depending on the cake mix).

Drop by teaspoon (or small Pampered Chef melon baller thingie) onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake about 10 minutes.

They will puff when in oven, then sink and look crinkly on the pan when they come out.

Cool for a couple of minutes and transfer to cookie rack to finish cooling.

This recipe has saved me on lots of nights when I forgot I was supposed to send treats for school the next day. I just keep cake mixes and chocolate chips on hand all of the time as basic staples of the food pyramid.

Have you ever heard a rumor about YOU?

I had two. One was pretty unnerving, the other very funny.

1. I was an orientation leader back in my college days, over the summer and winter breaks. During the fall semester, I was going to the campus library. When I stepped onto the elevator going to the stacks, I heard a soft "yeep! oh my God! it's him!" from behind a few people.

I turned around to find two of my freshmen from that summer staring at me in utter shock. I smiled, said "hi" and asked what was up. Apparently, the freshman class that year had heard that I had been killed in an auto accident.

Have NO idea why anyone said that or thought that.

2. The other rumor was that I had met a nice girl who was able to get me to "rejoin the other team" and I had gotten married and settled down. Now THAT one made me laugh and laugh.... !

How about you guys!

1. 2nd place in the Science Fair

2. Last report card - all A's, except a B in spelling-oops

3. Picked to be Psalmist in the last two school chapel services

4. Christmas Pageant - was 1st Reader (most words)

5. Duke University picked him for their scholar program(grades 3-5)

6. 3rd Grade Teachers voted him "Best Boy" for which he received the coveted Headmaster's Award - (I was so surprised and happy, I cried and embarrassed him to death)

7. I know of two little girls who are in LOVE with him, one who has been trying to rip his clothes off, I wrote about this dilema before, remember her crazy mother who came over to see the "evidence"


AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
1. Scored 4 soccer goals last season, only 1 so far this Spring
2. Can beat up any kid his age in the neighborhood

Hmmmmm, not bad, not bad at all. He's well traveled, but does need to get to WDW a little more often. I may need to set up a match between him and Daniel with the PS2. Report card is acceptable, he will need to be able to sing as Holly sings most of her sentences instead of just speaking them.

The other two girls are of no concern, Holly can outshine any other girl.

Now if you could just get together the composition and the pictures and forward them, we will take all this into consideration.

Would you believe that my dog is diabetic?? We found out last month. Now I have to feed her a very restricted diet and give insulin shots twice a day. She, of course, does NOT like the shots and whines and moans like I'm killing her. It's not really a fun way to start every morning

Rick that second rumor is priceless, like that Seinfelt episode when Elaine tries to have her "friend" switch teams.

Actually my mother in law used to say things about me to my sister in law and vice versa. But that's about it. Even in high school not one rumor. I think it was because I was friends with the girls who used to smoke in the bathroom and they were kinda tough so people left me alone.

There is a rumor going around that I have not one, but two gay internet boyfriends.

Other than that, my life has been very scandal free. Probably because everything that was ever said about me is completely true!
