Hi, back from work, caught up, and am now posting...

I managed to upgrade a computer we thought wouldn't upgrade, but when it came up...it stopped while booting up. I had to power down and reboot. I then went to work on the e-mail server. I cleared off over 250megabytes of "Bad Mail" I also cleared off 3.5 Gigabytes of Log files that should automatically delete themselves. All this because the tape backup hickupped in a bad way and I had to fix these problems while everything else was down.

Went to DW OB this morning, and I think I have her cold. I was totally zonked and stone faced. We got to the office and there was a girl that was due for a sonogram, but was delayed and she really had to pee...the poor nurses.

We got into the office, and the nurse came out with this cool little microphone and tuned it in so we could hear the baby's heart beat (156 BPM) Really cool, I kind of just grunted. The Doc came in and I started to ask questions, he answered one the rushed off. I asked a couple more short ones in the hall. I haven't had a chance to ask him my questions, but everything seems to be going well.

We went to lunch (at Nephosaurus's favorite Salad Bar) and I was suddenly evil for not jumping up and down when we heard the heartbeat.. I was happy, but I was in Zonked Mode. I DO LOVE MY FUTURE CHILD (for the record)

Morning.. the breakfast buffet arrived. thanks ohanafamily .They have set it up in the Japanese gardens near the waterfall area..

Had a very busy day at work yesterdat and tody doesn't look much better.. end of qtr stuff.. As soon as I got home , we have Boy Svout Committee meeting, Boy scout Camp tailer loading and Boy Scout National Jamboree stuff at council... so we didn't get hone until after 10.. Tonught is Rand Road clean up sservice project or the Boy Scouts.. Plus the boys have to get packed for camp..

Did I tell you that they BOTH leave on Sunday at 8 am and will not return until the next Saturday at 8 PM??..Wonder what we can do during that time

My Dad have surgery on Tuesday, didn't get out of the hospital until late yesterday..

Well off to catch up on yesterdays chattiness... and finishe a proposal that was due yesterday..

Thanks for the buffet OF. ROBIN how are you feeling this am? Hopefully you slept off the headache. Does your prenatal have lots of calcium? That helps with headaches.

GEFFRIC, looks like you will be an empty nester for a weeek. What fun. Plans lots of fun things to do. It doesn't happen very often.

Sam leaves on Sunday for 5 weeks. I will see her 2x within those 5 weeks. I'd miss her too much

Bummer for me. We are moving on July 5. My dh is going out of country from June 25-July 4. sooooo that means I have to do the majority of the packing myself. Of course!!


Ok buds. things to do. Will pop in later.

BTW got a pm from Kathy and she seems in better spirits. Please keep her in your prayers.

at least we know she's alive or someone was using her phone to let us think she's alive...

I have to go do the cleaning for the cleaning ladies thing now, along with making chocolate chip pancakes for Katie and her friend that spent the night. Cleaning ladies come at 11, which is when I take Katie to camp, so I'll be back 'round 11:15.

I'm up now, though don't really want to be. I actually slept through the night - most probably because I took a Tylenol Cold & Sinus before going to bed. I wouldn't mind sleeping for a few more hours but the maid comes sometime today so I need to put stuff away.

Thanks for pre-ordering breakfast ohanafamily. (And thanks for picking up the tab for it geffric.) I'm heading out the the Japanese garden to chug-a-lug a gallon of orange juice now.

Plans for today: after picking up around the house so the maid can clean, I'll head up to my scrapping room. I have tons to work on that HAS to get finished soon. First on list is the menus for MIL's 50th anniversary party next weekend. I need to make over 100 of them. They're going to be a photo from their wedding with a transparency overlay with the menu on it, tied together with a ribbon. They won't be difficult, just time consuming to do. Oh, I have a question for y'all. The info I was given said there is going to be a "Potatoe Bar". Spell checker didn't catch the spelling of pototo, so is this really another proper - maybe fancy - way to spell it? I could have sworn there was a big brew-ha-ha a few years back because a president or some other politician spelled it like that.

I pick the Castle--We could renovate it and add full bathrooms, bedrooms, and chocolate vault. Perfect location for the Wishes. The Swiss Family Robinson house for the kids and the hubbys/whoever wants the open air feeling/camping. We could have underground tunnels to the Crystal Palace, Poly ('ohanas), and the Haunted Mansion.
