Do you have to buy that from them?? We have Dish and we simply upgraded from a regular receiver to the DVR receiver. I was only charged a small service fee for the guy to come out and hook it up (we had to move the receiver from one room to another, or I'm sure we could have just switched it ourselves). I know what you mean about not getting much from them, though...seems the longer you are with a company, the less likely they are to reward you, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense if you think about it! What happened to customer loyalty?

I have recently discovered House. I like it. I normally watch Gossip Girl Mondays 8pm, but it's a repeat. I caught some repeats of House on the weekends. My son was watching it with me one day and he turned to me totally serious and said he's kind of an "*****" Well, some of you might be disgusted he said that, but I thought it was funny.

I bit the bullet and ordered one pair of Crocs and one pair of Keens to try. I had a 20% off code for Shoebuy that expired...today, I think, so I figured best to just get something ordered and start wearing them around the house. My poor feet hurt. :::sniff, sniff::: With their free shipping and returns, I have to say, that site makes it so easy for me. I'll let you all know what I think.

Because I know you're all so interested in the saga of my footwear.

Seems like I missed some serious decorating discussions today! Gets me all fired up for if we do buy a house. Right now, we're in limbo on that. Nothing in our price range really out there other than the one we looked at and didn't like, but I'm sure more homes will come on the market as the weather gets warmer.

I agree with your son. Not a fan of House. Maybe because a friend's DH aspires to be him, he's also a doctor.

Yesterday, he pulled her pull-up down without checking. The "contents" fell on the floor and DH stepped in it. I laughed hysterically. He didn't find it so funny. I said other moms would.

Well I am having a very stinky day of my own kind.....not of the odiferous persuasion, though. The "well this sucks" kind.

We are approx. 3 weeks from closing on our house and as of this moment we have no idea where we are going. DH had a fairly promising job opportunity that is now not looking so good (long story, I'll spare you; it wasn't in FL though). So for the last three weeks I was all geared up and heading in that direction, and now it looks as though he won't be taking it. And I know we've talked up a storm about moving to Florida, but I've gotta tell ya, the job situation is just plain SCARY. It's easy to say "we'll find something once we get there" and another thing entirely to do it. It's a real crap shoot these days. There was a spot on the news yesterday about a middle school in Ohio that received over 800 apps for ONE janitor position!! That is just not funny, my friends. Plus many of the rentals I've been looking over in FL are less interested in your credit history than they are in insisting you have a steady income. Telling a potential landlord you're moving down there and then "looking" for work isn't going to go very far! So now I feel completely stuck. DH said earlier that basically he's afraid right now to leave his current job, despite the fact that they are currently running three weeks on/1 week off in his department.....I don't know where he thinks we're gonna live on that income!!!

Stuck. Hopeless. Depressed.

It just wasn't supposed to be this way.....
