Oh, I took them plenty of water. The problem is not the dogs. Dogs do what they do. It's the total lack of respect for others that irks me about him. He's moody and dramatic. Twice I've told him to leave my kids alone. I expect my children to listen to adults, but to yell at them because they left their shoes on the floor? It's my house and my kids' house and if any of us want to line up our shoes from one end to another, it's our dang business.

So it's not just the dogs. This was just the last straw.

Two years ago he was here for Thanksgiving. He got mad at dh on Thanksgiving day and packed this things and left without saying goodbye before dinner.

I agree with SadieDog, can you figure out a way to make him mad again? Visiting family is like fish, it really starts to stink after being in your house for a few days. I hope he leaves soon and your kids feel better.


SadieDog - I hope your son comes to terms with whatever diagnosis the Dr. gives. My DD has a hard time knowing she is different. But she also knows she's much better knowing what she has and what she has to work harder at (focusing, impulse control, emotions) than others.

So yesterday morning we woke up to the tail end of a snowstorm, 5-10" in most places, yet our school district super didn't call a 2-hr. delay like every other district around.

Last night we got another dusting of snow. Dusting. If it could be measured it might be a 1/4". I could open the back door and literally blow it off the deck railing.

And TODAY he called a 2-hr. delay....

Which tells you, this guy probably had death threats on his answering machine yesterday!!!!!
