Well if you know the word that "hey there Delilah" was replaced with....after a male friend repeatidly ask her to see her -----a she finally showed him, he replied with "it's pink" From then on she was called Pink. That's the story I heard. The rats eyes are dark pink. :rotfl2:

:scared1: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Hello all! Boy have you guys been chatty and a bit randy today. :scared1: :lmao:

Hmm, to try to catch up on all those posts.

SadieDog - interesting rat stories. I had a pet mouse in college until my cat learned to get the cage open. I hope your cats or Buicks don't try to get a midnight snack. If anyone has seen Bolt, I have pictured in my mind one of your big dogs with the rat in a ball like the pound dogs with the hamster.

I like my sleep too. Nuff said.

The crockpot meals sound yummy. I made a chicken, broccoli, & rice dish in mine a few weeks ago that everyone loved. I may try the ham and cola. Will a diet Pepsi work? :scratchin

Cheermom - glad you got power to your people.

I'm exhausted. Ever have a day you wish you could just stay at work instead of coming home and dealing with the drama? :sad2: My DD had one of her soon to be patented temper tantrums at her dance class today. I had enough and decided I was fine with losing the money spent on the recital costume and classes for the rest of this month. :headache: I may just make myself a mixed drink while enjoying American Idol tonight. Though it doesn't seem like the little one will go down for me easy.

 Want me to Fed Ex you some calgon? I imagine that drama girl is going to be good for a few laughs. On the other hand maybe you shouldn't watch Idol tonight. Drama boy and girl have been causing me a great deal of irritation.

I am thankful my drama girl has nothing on Tatiana aka Giggle Girl or Nathaniel aka Headband Boy from Idol. Watching them makes me feel a little better that my kid isn't that bad. :worship: Though I would appreciate that Calgon.

I can hardly wait for the drama that is going to happen when they are removed. :thumbsup2 Wish I could get you that calgon. Kids can sure put you up a wall sometimes. They are still capable of doing it when they are 24. :sad1: Good thing about this is I ccn tell him to go home. :rotfl2:

The cage has twisters on each door. Rats are very smart and will learn to open them. So would my cats.

Sorry your daughter is driving you nuts. Mine is out like a light with a muscle relaxer.

Better hide the muscle relaxers. Mean Queen might be knocking on yourdoor later. :rotfl:

Did any of you see the story on the news tonight about the 18foot pyton that attacked a little boy? Mom had to repeatedly stap the snake. :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Well, I'm off. Everyone was scattered tonight so I didn't cook. And I just realized that I'm hungry. I'll talk to ya'll later.

:scratchin Maybe those muscle relaxers aren't such a bad idea. :faint:

Ok, maybe you are typing in the dark again but how do you stap a snake? Is that a slap or a stab?

:rotfl:

I'm guessing it's stab. I can't imagine slapping it would do much. :rotfl2: Pretty horrid thought.

Muscle relaxers and that mixed drink would sure make things better.

Okay...I was typing in the dark. :rotfl2: And it was stab. No...slapping it wouldn't have done much good. But can you imagine!!!!:scared1:

UGH OMG BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP
My daughter brought home a red eyed rat!

I'm going to bed.

EWW!! I had a picture of a snake for last summers discussion, but, I do not have a picture of a rat.

Chicken parm sounds good!

I actually decided to try a crock pot recipe I read on the DIS. It's chicken breast, bbq sauce and soda. I'll let you know how it comes out. I've discovered a new love affair, and it's with my crock pot. I love making stuff in it, and it saves me so much time at night, especially on days I work.

And heck, even days I don't! :lmao:

We had crock pot last night and tonight. Gotta love it.

What a long day. I was only at daycare for an hour when the High School Nurse called. My daughter was walking down the hall then all of a sudden had sharp pains in her neck and lost much mobility. They were afraid it might have been connected to the jaw injury 2 weeks ago. I spent most of the day at the emergency room. She got X-rays and SHOULD be ok. They think she has a muscle sprain in her neck along with muscle spasms. We have a referral to a specialist if it does not get better.

Now she is laying in bed with her rat and a heating pad on her neck. Yes, you read that right. She is resting with her rat. OMG

So warm here today. It might have hit 50! To bad I missed most of it sitting in a hospital.

I hope your DD is going to be okay. It was 63 here.

PaMom, thanks. She is out of it now. Hope tomorrow is a little better.

63 sounds wonderful!

I had a snake for a pet twice. That was after the mouse. I wouldn't have fed my pet to my pet.

It was 80 here today and the a/c is back on. Bye bye Winter.

So, annoying girl stays on AI. :sad2:

Man, you all have been chatting it up today. While I've been watching American Idol. Hope you all had a great Wednesday and will have an even better Thursday!!

Morning, guys!

Boy did you all have some fun chatter yesterday! :lmao:
