You should try it sometime. It can be very enlightening. I'm well on my way to forming a brand new language. Now, if only I new what I was saying. :lmao:

'K gals, I'm out for a while. As soon as the younger two boys get off the bus shortly, we need to head right back out to pick up the DS12 from his school! Shot from guns, as my MIL would say.

I'll be back this evening!

Properly warned ye be, says I.....

:lmao:

Well, I just finished balancing the checkbook. . .something I haven't done in a couple of months. I think I need a drink.

We're still fine, but my eyes are crossed from all the numbers. I was trying to figure out how to work out saving money for the June trip in our budget. I found the money, but was it worth this excruciating headache?

It may not seem worth it now, but it will be worth it when June comes. :thumbsup2

I made plans today for DD's 3rd birthday. We're going the week before so we don't have to pay for the dining plan for her and because our family would be mad if we left them on her birthday. I got reservations for the Princess Storybook breakfast and the Garden Grill.   I did try for Le Cellier but they were booked. I was surprised I found any openings. We'll be staying at Saratoga that trip.

We've also booked a 3-bedroom at Animal Kingdom for Memorial day weekend, a 2-bedroom Magic Kingdom view at Bay Lake for Labor Day, and a Treehouse Villa for my birthday. I was getting antsy having no trips planned and all those points sitting there. DL is out this year. We can't afford the travel.

Congrats on those ressies--I've already planned on being off worth the morning of the 26th to call in for my reservations, LOL. Where are the Treehouse Villas?

I'm hoping for reservations at 1900 Park Fare for Boo's birthday. She loves the Grand Floridian. So do I, but it's a bit out of my price range at the moment. So, POR remains home.

The Treehouse Villas are a new part of Saratoga Springs. They are the odd 2-story buildings that were part of the Disney Institute. If you took a boat from POR to DTD, you probably saw the treehouses in the woods. They have been redone and are opening in August.   They are 3-bedrooms that sleep 8. One room has bunk beds, the others a queen, and the living room has a sleeper sofa (I think.)

That sounds wonderful! Will your birthday weekend be your girl's weekend this year?

I would love to stay in the treehouses one day. When we were in Dinsey last year we stayed at POR and took the boat to DTD and saw them. I told DH then I would love to stay there. Disney needed something to compete with townhouses and Villa's offsite becuase there are alot of larger families now days.

I didn't take the boat to DTD because dh's brother thought we should take our car everywhere. :sad2: :rolleyes1

We will be taking the boat over this summer, I can assure you.
