HAPPY BIRTHDAY SADIEDOG!!​

You guys are just too thoughtful. I'm not used to it.

Tomorrow, on my b-day it would really be nice if I didn't have to make supper. However, I would still like to eat a meal. I have told my husband other b-days that I didn't want to cook and he's like that's ok, don't cook. Ummmm, but I would still like to eat. Would be nice if someone else made some food. It can be something real easy as long as I don't have to make it, but please make something.

I can't even drive the normal way to work! One of the roads is flooded. If it keeps raining, I'm gonna need an ark to get to work!

We had some minor flooding last night. There is supposed to be more heavy rain on the way this afternoon. At least the temps are dropping.

Oh my gosh - I can't wait!!!! I took the advice from some folks on the Vegas boards about waiting until a few weeks out to rent a car. I was able to get it for $118 for the week. Yay!

Great deal! I bet you are so excited for this trip. Make sure to give us all the details of the shows and food when you get back.

Good morning gals!

I see a few new tags and scrollies among us! Cool.

I can't stay long this morning.....the return to Real Life has hit us over the head with a two-by-four and I have lots to do. I'm anxious to start my TR though so I will try to do that tonight!

Nutshell re-cap: trip was very good, had a lot of magical moments, we ate a lot of food, had some "interesting" moments that will make for great TR stories, and the use of rented electric scooters at WDW has gotten entirely out of hand...


Gotta go get some groceries now!!!!!

I'll be very interested to read your TR. I tried to stalk you, but my DH won't go to AK in the summer. So we were at MK when you were scheduled to do AK. I guess we'll have to try to meet again another time.

I agree that the electric scooters have got out of hand. People are always almost running you over with those things.

There are a lot more scooters and almost no manual wheelchairs. But there are many more scooters than there ever were of wheelchairs. Whether the person needs it or not is not for me to decide. I'd enter a refillable mug thread before I make a comment on that.

I've heard people freely admit to using things like that for fun or getting them for the kids for fun. I didn't mean for you to speculate on a persons ability. I know how heated that can get.

Oooh!....Me! Me! I've got one! I saw a woman with BOTH the old-style "Port Orleans" refillable mug with the purple lid, AND the new "Year of a Million Dreams" mug!! (what, lady, you couldn't spring for one more mug??!) I also noticed that the handful of people I saw with old mugs were there when it was crazy-busy. Coincidence??....I think not!

I will not be debating the "need" for electric scooters on my TR (I know how ugly that would get) but I will be bringing them up for sure!!

It was a last minute trip. We decided on Friday to go. (One of the benefits of living in Florida... just saying.) The crowds were so low! I hope you had low crowds for your trip.
