Thought I'd post a couple of examples of my pages. These are from a long weekend with my dad in Florida (including a day trip to Epcot! )...

They're not overly fancy but they get the job done, and I enjoy looking back through the albums.

Here's the menu:
Ireland

Chilled Potato Leek Soup with Irish Cheddar Cheese Stick - $2.75
Boxty with Bacon Chips and Kerrygold Garlic and Fresh Herb Butter - $2.25
Irish Cheese Plate and Brown Bread with Apple Chutney and Kerrygold Irish Butter - $3.00
Guinness Draught - $3.50 (6oz) $5.50 (12oz)

What exactly is Boxty? I read it and first thought "Botox!"

We're doing the F&WF when we do MNSSHP in 17 days.

boxty is a kind of pancake made of potatoes, its very nice.
:D

Good afternoon. Seems like everyone has great weather today instead of us. It's 72 degrees and rainy.

Duplicate.... Sorry!

ETA: Mean Queen: did you ever go to something called the Festival of Lights at Lake Seminole Park?? I was just looking at my pics from that (they didn't come out well), it was such an awesome display!

You're up! Though it sounds like it was a good day to sleep in the day. What time do you go into work?

Duplicate.... Sorry!

Those are nice pages. I like the ones where you can get more pictures on a page. How'd you like Tarpon Springs? Though I grew up not far away, I went there for the first time a few months ago. I loved the food!

I loved Tarpon Springs!! It was such a blast just to walk around. They pipe Greek music right out into the street! We went to a sponge shop and saw a video on the history of sponge harvesting (more interestig than it sounds!), and a small aquarium where they had some cool stuff. My DH called while I was there with my dad, and I told him "I feel like I'm right in the movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding!! Oh pah!" It was a riot.

We did one of the boat tours where they explained the sponge industry. The aquarium there wasn't much, but my DD liked it. I left with almost $20 in baked goods, baklava and so much more. Yummy! I would go back for the food alone.

LegoMom, that page looks great!

I don't have enough talent or patience to scrapbook. My SIL does and she takes tons of pictures.

Well, ya'll have been just chating up a storm since I scooted out earlier.

LegoMom, I like your scrap book pages. One day I'm going to do this.

DeterminedOne, did you get any sleep?

Yes! We went a few years ago. It wasn't there last year and I was so disappointed. A little OT, but when I was a kid I was chased by an alligator at Lake Seminole park. Those guys run fast, unless you run zig zag.

Wouldn't that be good morning for you? ;) The weather here is hot, upper 80's but in the morning the temp is pretty cool in the 60's.

 Well, that's one of those little tidbits I'll have tucked away in the back of my brain and hope I never need it, but I'll remember it if I do!!...:scared:

I was up, but shouldn't have been. I had planned to sleep from 9 to 4 but my body woke up at 1:00. I finally went back to sleep around 5, got up at 8 and have to be in at 11. Hopefully soon my body will realize I need to sleep more than 3-4 hours at a time. Just my luck, it won't happen til the weekend when I want to stay awake. In any case - I think I will like 3rd shift just fine. :thumbsup2
