My son just texted me that Pecos Bill will no longer serve taco salads, but they will be available at Tortuga Tavern (and we all know that is never open when we want to eat there). They are replacing the taco salad with chicken waffle sandwiches (which they already sell at Sleepy Hollow). Disney did away with my caramel corn bucket at Sleepy Hollow. They did away with the Mickey turtles and pick your own salt water taffy (as well as most of the confectionaries) at the Main Street Confectionary (it should be the Main Street Bakery since they mostly have baked items).

If they mess with the pot roast at LTT, I'm selling my DVC points.

Well...guess I have no reason to go to Pecos Bill now...that's what I usually ordered. Lol about Tortuga Tavern...we have never seen it open...what season is 'seasonal?' :confused3

Thanks for the heads up.

Sad that is my favorite MK lunch choice!

I wonder what will become of the fixins' bar? :confused3

We still need fixins' for burgers.

One of Disney's issues is that some guest treat the fixins' as free food for the taking. There are reports of guests making their own salads without buying a meal or buying 1 meal for 4 people and taking fixins' for 4.

:( The Taco salad was what I liked at Pecos Bills - and since they are the only option open late in Frontierland that is definitely sad. I was thinking that I didn't see the Greek salad on the menu at Cosmic Rays last month during our quick stop in but didn't get a chance to double check on it or if I just missed it on the menu. It's been a few years since they removed my favorite salad - the Garden Galley at Columbia Harbor house. That was saddest of all.

I'm still ticked that they stopped selling the homemade chocolate covered rice crispy bars at the confectionary. They were my one indulgence that I looked forward to. Now they just sell those pre made packaged ones that are crap.

I am with you there! The only place to purchase the large ones with chocolate on top now is at Germany in Epcot.

It's only open during high-crowd times, and then only for lunch---like 11-3 or something similar.

Taco salads at Pecos Bills are my favorite counter service meal. I have actually planned MK days to include lunch so I could have a few.
Not good news.

Found out today that the new food court at All Stars Music will have taco salads like they had a Pecos Bills. I might have to take a trip over there.
